I got my 33mm Quad boards with the optics yesterday. I put 4 of the new Samsung LH351D in 5000K tint at 80CRI on one of them and tested it outside of a light, connected directly to a cell via 18ga leads. On an LG HE4 it made some 4200 lumens, but on an iJoy 21700 it did 5500 lumens at 16.3A. This was the MCPCB with emitters and the optic, two leads coming off it.
Pretty nice beam profile, nice color. Will make a really good light.
Edit: I found the color tint to be similar to that of an egg from the Salmon Faverolle chicken…
