First YouTube flashlight review (BLF GT)

Hey guys I just started a YouTube channel for reviewing lights and I would appreciate it if you guys checked out my video and gave me feed back on how I did, I’ve been wanting to start a channel for some time now And I just decided I would make a video to see how it went.

You can find the review Here

Good video I gave you a comment on the video. Plus that GT is awesome!

Nicely done mikelights!!! :+1:
.

No problem and thanks

/\ …. My pleasure. :+1:

Haha, loved the music. Good review, nice pacing, nice audio mixing, loved the length of the review! You didn’t draw it out, it was very “This is the light. This is what it looks like. Good night.” Maybe get a tripod for your iPhone.

I wish you the best in your video journey!

Thanks it means a lot, I will go shopping on amazon for a good tripod Right now!

For mounting a phone to a tripod, I highly recommend the RetiCAM tripod mount for smartphones. I’ve used one regularly for three years and it’s very sturdy and much nicer than the cheap spring-loaded phone clamps.

This one by ulanzi looks like a clone for a bit less money, but I haven’t had any experience with it.

For a compact ‘tabletop’ tripod, I recommend the Pedco UltraPod II. I have three of them and have used them with my phone, GoPro, and flashlights for three years.

Pedco makes several different UltraPod models, but I like the UltraPod II best. It has a Velcro strap that can wrap around a pole, chair, railing, fence post, tree branch, etc. I even drilled a hole in mine and have temporarily secured them to ceiling joists and doors with a screw.

I’ve owned a couple Joby Gorillapod flexible tripods, but they weren’t very sturdy and the ball joints loosened up rather quickly.

BTW, those are just plain Amazon links. I’m not an affiliate.

PS - Nice job on the review.

Awesome, thanks for the links! That small tripod looks great I may get it.

PS just got back from taking some pictures for my upcoming TN42 review, this next review will have more beam shots and measured distances plus I measured the lux with a meter and included that in the video too, it should be a lot better then the blf gt video
