Thank you. I got it in 6days
Are we still out of stock? Just noticed the thread title is āActiveā now. Is there a new code?
Could I get a new code?
I just recieved my two. They are working fine. Very nice design. They even have a blinking side light for when the battery level is below 30%. I have not heard that before, so I thought Iād mention it.
My only minor issue is the coating on the springs is not fixed. On one spring I see several ares where itās peeling. The other spring has a couple of barely noticable spots. Maybe the next time I have my soldering iron out Iāll add a little bypass wire.
Got my T1 today as well. Figure Iāll give it to my son on his 11th birthday later in the month. The tint ramping is pretty dang cool, pick your poison as it wereā¦
Got my order today, neat little thing it is. Good thing I ordered 4.
recāed my 2, all I can say is WOW. Not that Iād want my kids to lose more lanterns but Iāve been supplying them
with the 3xAA lanterns; theyāre not worth the 3xAA Eneloops I put in them. And the Blitzwolfs, yea theyād be good night lights
I just got mine as well, Used it a little bit and now I have it charging. With the risk of sounding dumb :person_facepalming: I have a question, to turn off the light can you do it from the top metal switch or do you have to do it from the bottom (next to the tailcap) switch? I tried to turn it off from the top switch but it just kept changing color or brightness, maybe I just havenāt got the hang of it yet.
So, can someone tell me How do you turn it off using only the top switch? :student:
Thanks!
Unfortunately, it can only be switched off using the bottom buttonā¦
If you press and hold the bottom button to turn it off, it should memorize your previous color and brightness level.
I received my light yesterday and it seems to have some issuesā¦
First is I canāt turn it off without totally removing the battery compartment cap (boy not having anodized threads for a lockout is annoying) but the bottom button doesnāt do anything. Seems like thereās a bad connection at the driver / button or a broken wire inbetween.
I was thinking I could spray paint the threads to try to make it so I could just crack the tail to shut it off. I like the light and definitely want to be able to use itā¦ Does that sound like itāll fix it make it usable?
Second (and it may be related) is that I canāt ramp brightness in the tint mixing mode. Have I just not figured out the UI yet or does ramping brightness in tint mode require that bottom button again (which wouldnāt be fixed by my proposed solution for shutting it off above)?
I really donāt want to try to open up a glued together plastic bodied lightā¦
The bottom button is used only for red modes and off, everything else is done by the top touch-button
I would open a ticket and ask for a replacement, never had a problem with GB when I received a DOA, they always refunded me
Coupon is no longer working. āThis coupon has reached its maximum limit.ā
I found that out!
Such a shame you canāt turn it off from the top button
Yeah, the whole UI is pretty wonky. Iād much rather have an extra color temp button on the bottom. Then the top can be brightness and off.
Then they need to anodize the battery cap threads so it can be transported while easily locked out.
Interested in a couple!
Now it says ādiscontinue.ā
