what will bump help `?

So this thread will not disappear. Hopefully, more people in the first GB will express their concern. I am sure I am not the only one.

Well it’s been about 2 months for me since I was told my driver was sent out. So as long as you were told that you would be receiving a driver, the only thing you can do is wait. But if you never go in touch with HL to request a new driver, you need to reach out to HL and request one… Then wait.

Ah ok, i guess the only way is to mail HL and bug them to send out the drivers, or that Dale guy but he seems to not write much here about it ?

Or they just dont care for those few that needs drivers - same i read with the BLF GT a few members are left with a broken light and the company refuses to fix the issues for a few members… maybe its same here? who knows either way its wrong and not a way to treat customers for sure… 2 months or more is a forever wait sorry but seems they just moved on the drivers should have long reached u all…

I did 2 months ago and during the 2 months, I only emailed them about 3 times. I was patiently waiting but when I email them again I don’t get any response anymore. I don’t think that is acceptable customer service. What is the acceptable wait time for you?

I would normally only wait up until 2 months max before making complaints. However, I had given up on HL redeeming themselves because of the whole sc26 debacle with Terry. But HL pulled through and released the sc26 (improved from the original specs as well) and thanks to Freeme we even got a nice discount. So I am willing to give HL and Dale the benefit of the doubt and wait. It also helps that I ended up buying one of TA’s handmade drivers as well and I don’t “need” the replacement driver. I might end up donating my replacement driver to a BLF member who needs it, if I get the driver earlier than other members.

If you are tired of waiting I make this special offer for my replacement driver for 13.2€ shipped priority air mail

How is it even possible for a mailed item to take two months? Some discount shipping that puts stuff on a round the world container ship that is near Antarctica now? Sitting in some container in Hong Kong waiting an empty spot on a two prop airplane? Some bike courier pedaling towards Europe? How is two months or longer even possible (if shipped) without artificially delaying it or just sitting in some warehouse next to the Ark of the Covenant??

I am only asking someone from HL or Dale give us update. How long are they expecting us to wait? How about if pay them a few months after I received the light?

sadly not too uncommon for chinese companies to leave buyers like that… ive read many similar stories of that since i joined BLF…

The problem here and with the GT is that PayPal protection has expired.

@Lexel perhaps I will order one from you, but I am waiting of an respond of the banggood support, have hard flickering on low with my MF04S. Than I will order the drivers and some other parts together.

I’m not naive to believe that the driver actually shipped out 2 months ago and it’s in limbo somewhere. I’m just saying that I believe that HL will fulfill their promise on the replacement driver, eventually. However, it’s easy for me to say since I already dished out extra money for a replacement driver and I have a working light.

Hi Lexel,
Does your driver work for both the MT09 70xhp and 35xhp models or will there be one for each of those two models? Also, what is the exact difference between yours and TA’s driver with regards to performance.

Thank you!

This is just XHP70

I have a 7.5A Buck driver for XHP35s, then you can bridge springs without killing the LEDs

Got this email from Dale today.
