It uses HKL driver, and from the host design, you can already tell it is HKL. Haha .

Oh I'll be looking for this one too. Do you know for sure Haikelite is the manufacturer? Of course there are similarities, but then again Manker didn't know about Utorch at first. You know there are often weird relations in the Chinese flashlight biz.

I have already learned there is a sushi restaurant called “Asahi” in Rome. So googling about this light is really good fun and effective… Facepalm Big Smile

Any news on the quad by Amutorch?

Jaxman X1/X1S…

One of the 26650 lights with best build quality. I built one with XPL HI and FET driver achieving 160kcd. That thing was bombproof and the threads were extremely smooth.

Not for sale yet. Maybe look out for HKL site instead?

The link Charles Lin posted in 219 shows this light for sale at ¥ 288.00 each if you buy two to thirty pieces.

https://detail.1688.com/offer/570010942964.html

Unfortunately part of the page keeps automatically translating to English and screwing with Google Translate.

Is this site Taobao?

Chinese currency?

Is the light actually for sale or is it a pre-production listing?

These are so cool! Perfect for putting on your belt and having light whenever you need it.

I see Banggood carries these for around $39 USD.

Has anyone ever seen anything similar, or is this a unique design?

I can’t seem to find a single review of it.

This does give me an idea, though. I could add a belt clip to a headlight in this same rectangular size. Maybe a Nitecore NU20. Those seem to be well liked.

What is the connection to Haikelite?

Obviously the machining is very different from the MT03.

The price has now dropped to $55 with store coupon. If this a haikelite internals than this is a steal of a deal. I’m going to order one.
