Thanks a lot BrySig228, trying to decide on whether to get the Lumintop or the Thrunite, maybe both, which has the most throw in your opinion. Looking at videos of each separately they both look impressive. Already have the Utorch and Emisar.

Dont have the Lumintop but the V6 blows away the Utorch really impressed with the V6

I like the cat6 beam profile because it’s all hotspot and little corona. That’s mostly thanks to its wide and shallow reflector with large opening at the bottom around the emitter.

The man that did this video said he would choose the Lumintop over the Thrunite. Funny how everyone talks about the Thrunite and no one talks about the Lumintop. The V6 got some recognition and everyone ran with it with hardly any mention of the Lumintop.

The lumintop is basically just a Manker U21 clone. Manker U21 got plenty of attention when it came out. It’s still a very impressive light when modded.

Could the BLF GT MINI be thrown in to this comparison or do we think it’s not fair to it ?

The GT Mini uses XPL vs XPH35 so a lot less lumens and the reflector is also smaller. The Emisar(XPL) would be a more fair comparison to the GT Mini.

I got the GT Mini on order and was eyeing off of the D1S. Are you saying they’re pretty much on par?

They both have the same LED emitter. Not positive on this but I think the GT Mini reflector is a little bigger but the D1S is driven harder, they should have similar throw. GT Mini might have a little better throw but a little less lumens.

Thats ME… i like the Lumintop better, the V6 is great…but heats up quick…i got the WOWTAC A4 NOW.
