I know I'm a bit behind the times and a n00b and all that but pretty happy with the Q8 delivered today, apart from dodgy oring. Also received 3xConvoy C8 with single cell chargers and batteries for gifting so I can sow the seed of lumen addication with my brother in law and a couple of mates :)
A couple of Zanflare F3. I wanted a couple of good AA light and for some reason I thought these were AA not AAA. Still very happy with the quality.
A couple of TG - C8 XR - Q5 Ultra Bright LED Mini Flashlights. Wanted these for emergency lights at the stables. They have a USB A plug in the tail. Handy because I added a USB adapter to my DIY solar panel control unit, so I can charge them for free. Bright enough, but horrible blue tint.
All bought from GearBest under the 50% off over $30 offer.
Best of all, Massive Wagons new CD (out today) and T-shirt.
Clemence MOD Quadtrix E21A Nichia SW45 R9080 Armytek Tiara C1 Pro. This is “THE ONE ” I have been looking for years! Beautiful tint, HCRI, great UI & it works both 18350 or 18650. I don’t think I’ll purchase any headlight in nearby future; unless, there are some breakthrough development in the headlight technology.
The silver one (white ones my wife’s ’13 Legacy GT 6spd)
Mines an’09 impreza turbo fully loaded (2.0t, 5spd, <100k), got a GREAT deal @ $5900 out the door! This is Subaru #4 for us, other than work trucks we’ll never own anything else
I got my Fireflies ROT66 today. It may well be the nicest flashlight in my collection, and it feels great in the hand. The tint at lower ramp settings is great, at highest ramp a bit too rose (as expected from this led). Everything works and I hope it stays that way. A nice flashlight deserves a nice pic:
^ cool light, Glenn, have fun tonight! I’m waiting on a conversion kit so it will be a while before I will have mine.
Got a baggy of side-mounted mini-switches from AE today, that will hopefully fix the unresponsive switching of my mini-GT. But the switching got a bit better in the meantime so I will hold off the swap for now in the hope that the problem will fix itself over time.
