I’m dreaming about BLF Q8mini 3*18650 5000-6000Lm. Are there plans to develop a flashlight? 3*18650(21700)?

I thought about it, but I like 3*18650 more than 1*26650. And for batteries, more sparing conditions of work. I look closely to Fireflies ROT66, but its price is much larger than Q8.
As it seems to me 4*18650 goes beyond ergonomics. Q8 it is so successful that I have recommended it to my friends many times, but personally I’m somewhat uncomfortable.
6500K is not for me.
Is this the only choice?

Yeah, Neutral would be better for me as well. But, assuming Sofirn keeps the same mod-ability that the original Q8 has, it should be possible to change to whatever CCT is desired. If it’s the same size PCB, then even the size of the emitter can be changed by using a led4power Q8 MCPCB.
Seems pointless to even discuss right now. The only change they said they have made is putting in HI leds instead of HD. None of the other more interesting changes are even designed yet… If someone wants a neutral Q8 there is already the real original Q8 with HD leds that had an excellent combination of flood and throw already.
The only CW lights, which I are in, are of CRI 90 or above. Unfortunately there is no 90 CRI option for first gen. XPL in either HD or HI. There is no second generation XP-L (XP-L2) HI, and XP-L2 kinda sucks regarding tint consistency. I'd hope for an XHP35 90 CRI 5700K version of the Q8 (maybe 6500K is also fine, but 90 CRI is required for me).
I would really appreciate a 3 batteries tube/carrier working with the new Q8. Maybe another one with a down-compatibility to the BLF-Q8 with a different end (positive contact to the driver).
Neutral white 90 CRI for the leds, preferably not Cree because most have a “rainbow effect”.
You could get the original BLF Q8 instead, which is about 4800K. The point of this new version is because people wanted a cool white option.
That’s too bad. I actually like the looks of the new version better than the one I have. No way am I going to buy one with that cold blue tint.
On AX, Sofirn has the regular Q8 battery tube for 10bux(ish), so maybe the new one’ll also become available. Relatively low-cost facelift…

Just so people know, this is not the v1.5. This is the more traditional Q8.

You’re right, it’s not the v1.5, it is the “traditional” Q8, but a bit different from the BLF Q8 anyway. It does have the XPL HI and some other changes noted by Sofirn.
By the way, Sofirn, I like the battery tube with the new knurling and no flat sides!
