[New Release] Mankerlight E05 II AL/Cu 1300 Lumen Highest Output Pocket EDC Flashlight in 14500/AA Class

Really liking the T02. Might have to try one out. Love the outputs on both cells. Mode spacing is nice on both cells as well. I think it’s a winner.

I like the look and shape. I’m not sure why you chose 50.2. I would go 70.2 and make it a real 3000 lumen.
The long press on/off is very irritating in this type of light. If the charging circuit is maybe 2A, then that would be a good thing. 3A is even better, but protected cells may have an issue with that.

This is too strange for me. What is the purpose for it? Is it supposed to be a very small, throwy light?

It looks cute, the UI is only “okay”. I don’t see any usb recharging on it and the clip can not rotate are negatives for me.

This is interesting. Maybe you can describe the function of the different pieces. Is one a glass breaker? The other pointy end for self defense? Maybe it’s a ball point pen?

I’m not sure what these are. Is it a glass breaker on one end and a ballpoint pen on the other?

Is this a bigger and fancier version of the EP01?

That E04 is cuuuute.
@JasonWW: Charger is probably a part of battery.

Like this?

That kinda sucks. It might be easier to just carry spare batteries. That way it works when you need it and you don’t have to scramble to reassemble it in the dark.

It looks like Fenix, Olight and Nitecore 16340 have a 0.3A charge rate. Klarus looks to have a 1A charger built in.

I think like this.
I don’t think it sucks. Normally you don’t recharge in the dark anyway, if capacity is too low for a single night, just carry spares or take another light.
I find such charger to be useful in multi-day trips where it weighs much less than several spares, especially if your phone uses the same connector and you have the cable anyway. Which is not my case.

I would want this for everyday carry. Batteries don’t run down in the day time, they run down at night when your using them. Lol

I guess my particular situation is unique to me. It’s just a shame I can’t find the right light for my needs out of all these similar styles and brands.

I may give up on finding a 90° head light and just use the new OTR M3 Pro.

I have ordered a 16340 light that I may EDC largely because of this style of rechargeability.
But with my EDC lights I just tend to check battery from time to time, so I can charge it before it’s empty.

The new models look pretty good but I would like to see occasional discounts or flash sales for BLF members

Oh man, Manker makes such good flashlights but I can’t ignore their let’s call it “extremely loud” styling, it is sooo far from what I like! (think: compact, straight lines, elegant)

Tired of the Zebra Light- Look-A-Lights… :confounded:

The Zebralight styling is too round for me too, in fact all those angled headlamps have that round-ish head, while I like straight lines and edges.

clerical error

I sincerely hope that there will be 18650 Body Tube Flashlight Accessories .

as Eagle eyes X1R . Can extend the use time .

Instead of launching another new product. (18650 H05)

I really fancy a E04. Been keenly after a little right angle torch with
Mini li-ion cell. Instead of a AAA cell.
Lots of flashing modes
Flood patten
USB charge
headstrap (opt)
pocket clip
voltage level indication.
magnet
etc etc
basicly its just what i’ve been after

£34 sounds like theres price markup.

If its made better than the first mini torch/flashlight (flat, keychain style) manker did, cus the button cover fell out of mine and so i had to tape some foam over the switch for it to work. Also the leds own lens and white foster stuff, came off when i took it apart in my effort to solder a better fix. I guess the led had gotten very/too hot.

However in the E02, the heatsink design looks far better. Looking at reviewers photos. So if the heat sinking in the E04 is as good or better than the E02 i will feel more confidant that it will have longer product life span.

heh i use my first manker keychain torch as a fancy blue light now

hehe if theres a coupon ill keenly buy one now. else i am waiting to see if price goes down.
cus for £35 there is the TI version of E02! while the Au version is £20~ but i really want E04 and its native liion cell.
I guess your keen to get your money back after investing in tooling, setup, moulds, etc

Feature tweak: I would love the switch modes via double click to have a longer time threshold or a different click patten because with cold hands its very hard to click that quickly. I am a young person (23 years old)

Wish list:
Tough industrial metal switch.
USB powered mode
Water*poof* usb socket. not a rubber cover/flap.

Greetings. The runtimes of Manker E04 don’t looks strange? While you have 1.4 h at 200 lumen - seems correct. But 1.7 h not too low for 100lumen with 650mAh?

No, it’s the opposite.

If we include loss of efficiency in the circuit, 1,7h seems perfectly normal for a 2,35Wh 16340, since the LED will draw around 1,00W.

On the other hand, if the LED draws 2W for 200 lumens, the light should only be able to run for 1,15h, at best. That means the brightness will step down at one point.

Maybe.
But it seems to me that the circuit should not have so many losses, otherwise the moonlight was not so long. I just compare with other runtimes of flashlights.
Also i sure here step-down on turbo which is not listed in the specifications.

What is upgraded in U11 “upgraded version” ?

Any 219 versions of the E02? I even tried all 3 colors, got ” :exclamation: the combination you selected is unavailable” or somesuch.

I wanted to get a couple, but I really don’t want those any of those hateful little G3s. I have to slap on like 3 layers of diffusion film to mask the ugly ugly beams that G3s make in reflector lights.
