Where do i buy good 26650 high drain cells?

Wolfdog not gonna lie im a little confused lol. Could you send a link to the keep powers and Shockli & orbtronics please?
I was reading the review about the Cat V6 and you all went into battery details.
Thanks. Still got them leather hands

Idk what a PLB-55 is

The PLB-55 is supposedly the “CELL” that is used in all three of the batteries I mentioned. It is the best cell as far as capacity and plenty of amps[~ 20A continuous] for our flashlights.

I would definitely go w/ the Orbtonic cells over the Keeppower. It is about $4 cheaper/cell.

The link was already given for the Shockli[Mt. Elec.],I got mine elsewhere.

Orbtronic

Keeppower

Woah dang! Ok Orbtronics it is thanks all!

According to specs, that Orbtronic is as fat as the Shockli, which means it’s not going to fit in his ODF30.

How are the Efest purple 5000s?
Would those fit?

I did not realize the ODF30 tube was so narrow.

They will fit. HKJ has it at 66.6mm x 26.2mm. I saw a review and the guy used a Keeppower 26650 5200mAh battery. Its diameter is 26.3mm. The Efest is a much better battery. If you use HKJ comparator with the links I provided, you will see that the KP has a lot more voltage sag.

The Efest will work fine for you. Here is a place to get a pretty good price on it.

https://mahbattery.com/efest-26650-5000mah-battery/

That is a pretty good battery. See HKJ comparator for all different size batteries and their voltage sag and overall ratings.

Ok,use the first link[works] and plug the battery info in the comparator

EDIT: Try the link below and put your Efest in there against any other battery. click the drop down box on left and the one on right,

Links aren’t working. Says “page not found”

I do not know what is going on with these links! First it worked now it doesn’t,this one does.

Try the link below and put your Efest in there against any other battery. click the drop down box on left and the one on right.

It is easier looking at One or Two amps settings at a time. Just “uncheck” the boxes you do not want to see.

, If you click on the individual battery you will see the review on it.

here is the dealer that carries it.:

EDIT: Final thoughts/suggestions!

That Efest 5000 will work and is a good battery when comparing to others on HKJ’S comparator and the dealers link is someone I have purchased from. They are reputable.

You can do a search on here like I did for ODF30 threads to get all the info. you need

You are not getting enough info from the SOURCE[People who have the light] because your thread title is a generalization about 26650 batteries and not specific about the ODF30.

I would get the Efest 26650 5000mAh and enjoy your light,no more worries! :sunglasses:

No, as stated earlier, the PLB-55 in all its forms are not a good choice because it’s too fat at 26.7mm. There are clear warnings about it’s size at MTN Electronics.

The links from HKJ require you to use the advanced post editor due to the spaces in the URL.

I don’t have much experience with Efest. I’m not sure if I trust them since the batteries under the wrapper can vary over time and their ratings are sometimes incorrect. So I’m very skeptical about that brand.

Well then he could get the Ijoy[D=26.22mm] 26650 4200mAh OR The Golisi[D=26.0mm] 26650 4300 mAh[least V sag of them all].The Shockli[D=26.0mm] 26650 4300 . That is not easy to get in the USA,especially at a good price.

The Ijoy is the most accessible of the Two. The Golisi is very expensive if you buy from a USA vape shop, would have to get it overseas!.

I checked out the Liitokala and it is also too big[D=26.8mm] according to HKJ’S review.

My hometown dealer[Liionwholesale] is out of the Ijoy.

I think his best bet is the Efest, either that or pay more money or wait and buy from China.

I know this does not help the OP,I am glad that I have the Catapult V6!! NO issues with battery size and great performance

Thanks Wolfdog.

Ok everyone. I have one Efest purple and it works great in the ODF30. I wasn’t sure where to find them, but now I do thanks to Wolfdog. Never heard of mahbattery.com before.

Hmmm, HKJ’s specs may be a little off or maybe the cells vary. My Liitokala cyan are about 25.3-25.4 and fit the ODF30 just barely. It’s a tight air seal. The cells slide in and out slowly due to tight fit, but they do fit.

Looks like they just sold out. They were in stock on the 5th when I recommended them in post 12.

The Aspire 4300 still looks to be in stock.

Sorry for reviving an old thread. Does anyone know if the Shockli IMR 26650 5500mah will fit a Lumintop ODL20C?

Thanks!

I purchased four imren purple 4200 mah 26650 batteries at wholesale price locally at perfect vape warehouse, online they cost much more but I have had excellent results with these batteries in my ft03.

Does Aspire is same as golisi and shocklii?

Different.
Golisi 4300 is good.
Shockli 4300 green is good.
Aspire 4300 is good.
iJoy 4200 is good.
All close in performance. Good high drain cells.

Shockli 4200 purple, not as good.

When you look at HKJ’s 26650 comparator, Shocklii 5500 vs shocklii 4300mah(green) graph look very weird. At below 15amp discharge, Voltage sag still in favour to the Shocklii 5500mah. But when it come to above 15amp discharge, the 4300mah(green) can handle heavy load. That why I change my mind, 5500mah look very strong for me….

Edit: its Shocklii 26650 4300mah (green) imho typo :person_facepalming:

I don’t see a Shockli 4500mah.

The 5500mah is a fairly new (couple years old) high capacity cell that is still pretty good at delivering amperage despite being high capacity.

Since only smaller companies make 26650, they usually can’t get very high capacity, but they can still get good high drain performance.
