Elon Musk shows how safe 21700's are by smoking one

Marijuana??

Looks like a cigar to me unless he is using Brown rolling papers and rolled a really thick one which I doubt very much.

Publicly smoking a controlled substance which is illegal in the US as the CEO of any company is beyond stupid. No matter what the individual States do, the Federal government still has laws that classify the drug as ILLEGAL. I doubt he will suffer for it, the elite celebrities of the world are above the law mostly.

You never know when the Officer you come across will decide to enforce the drug laws that day. Try putting a small amount of weed in your luggage and go to the nearest major commercial airport, go fly out of Denver and see what happens. Those drug laws still apply folks.

Its killing the companies that need skilled employees in high risk positions. Its killed construction lately, I lost many key positions because idiots think its legal somewhere, but it ain’t at many jobs folks! We had to do regular drug testing at work to maintain insurance, I bet the cost of business has increased in CO.

Society pushing drugs as harmless is very foolish. We have too many dope heads now that can’t stay employed. Then you have the drunks, they are actually worse than dope heads. Folks won’t keep it at home, drug use permeates your whole life. I stayed off all drugs, mainly because I saw what it did to so many friends and my own brother.

What am I missing?!!! Where do you see a joint? I see what looks like a little Brown cigar, like a stogie that my Grandfather use to smoke!

The storyline says that it is a blended tobacco and MJ and both acknowledged that before the toke.

To my eyes, it seems perfectly legit for him to be smoking what he is smoking.

He is doing it in a way that will not get him high, which is why he let out all of the smoke.

Personally, I’m more worried about what he drank before this.

Why has nobody done a discharge test on a tesla 21700 cell yet?
Or am I just missing something?

Well I don’t really know why.

Perhaps the Model 3 production is hoarding all of them.

There is no story line in the OP………just a photo

You got no Google up there?

And nobody has bothered to take apart one of the battery packs to test?

Society isn’t pushing drugs as harmless. Some areas of society are waking up to the fact that a lot of drug laws and enforcement are arbitrary (like the distinction between alcohol and pot), or worse, actively and deliberately unjust. Some areas of society are waking up to the fact that moralizing and punishment doesn’t work any better now that it ever did, and that there are better ways to deal with drug and alcohol abuse.

Heavy emphasis on “abuse,” there is an important distinction between that and use and I’m not blasé about it. My father drank himself to death by the time I was 26 and he was 56. Pot, like alcohol, gambling, video games, and flashlights can provide a way to avoid dealing with stuff that needs taking care of, or it can be a relaxing diversion (not for me; these days, it seems to make me anxious).

Commercial interests, on the other hand, are doing what commercial interests do. I’d prefer they do a lot less “demand generation.”

Yes absolutely. +1

Also, let’s not forget that regulation is really important. If people can legally get their does of being high, they will consume a regulated amount of the stuff with known ingredients, not black market stuff with much higher concentration, and even a much more potent chemical inside of it.

Decriminalization and legalizing drug use, along with REGULATING it, is important to limit abuse to the maximum.

Almost every time, drug abuse is coming from emotional conflict and problems, and if we punish the users of it, then their state will get worse.

In fact, if you want something successful regarding this, go see Portugal and drug decriminalization.

Well, it would be a great way to ‘dispose’ of excess nukes! There are enough nukes in the world today to destroy our planet many times over and I think most of them are ours (USA).

We did have the most, I think more than double what Russia has. The Obama administration decommissioned many of them and if I’m not mistaken we have a little less than Russia now.

It’s game-over, man! Game-over!

You could make the same point about junk food. The obesity epidemic is just as harmful to society and the workplace, if not more so. Would you like if the government regulated your meals - banned fast food, told you what to eat and regulated your portions? I doubt it, you would say it infringes on your personal liberty.

To quote a prominent Dutch psychiatrist:

Today there are more psychopath’s in board-rooms than in jail.

Ok,so I am suppose to google the dude and read about him so I know that is a mixture of tobacco and marijuana!

Suggestion, if your going to post something you need to give all the information. Maybe a link on the article?

Based on that photo one would NOT assume that is a joint!

Obesity is an epidemic but your comparison is Very weak!!

An Obese person does not kill others[DUI,Murders, other Crimes, ect.], disrupt and destroy families. They[Drug addicts/Alcoholics] are responsible for 80% of the people in USA prisons who committed their acts while under the influence.Believe me, the same thing/statistics are felt in Europe and other parts of the world.

I know and have experienced a lot about this. I have been in the field since 1980.

After doing some research on my own I found a much better and revealing photo.,then again, people roll their own tobacco!
