The cell carriers are available. Yes you can do that if you wish or get both if you wish. :+1:
Then why do it say it…?
GT70 Conversion Kits are for GT70 DIY.
1*XHP70.2 LED, Cold white or Neutral white options
1*Centering Ring
1*TA Driver Giggle Monster
2*Cell carriers
^exactly. I know originally the carriers were not included, but the order page is confusing.
teacher: VernonDent:Ok im a bit confused.
The way it looks on the order page for the conversion kit, it seems to suggest the updated battery carriers are included with the kit.
Is this true?
Or do i need to order the carriers in a separate order and THEN the kit in a separate order ?
Do a seperate order for each item. Carriers are not part of the Conversion Kits.

Good question. . But I would not attempt to answer it on a bet…

Yep… it does take a bit of ’reading between the lines’ to decipher it.
Just keep in mind the blf gt is very difficult to open and shaving the xhp70.2 will result in green tint…
I ordered only the conversion kit because the coupon does not work with the cell carriers, not even in separate orders.
When the cell carriers are at the offered price I will buy them.
Cell carriers - 1x for $15 2x for $28 (unprotected cells only)

They appear to be selling 3 different items on this one page.
1. CW conversion kit
2. NW conversion kit
3. Carriers x 2

Hmmmm…. that is strange. It worked for me. The Code knocked $20 off the price of the carriers…… making them $28 for a set of two.
Oh yeah, it seems they are just sold in pairs… no singles.

I think TA will need to ask them why the coupon is not working for the carriers. Lumintop may not even be aware of the problem. It seems clearing cookies got it working.
It seems they have several glitches in their website. It might take a day or so for them to get it all working smoothly.

Yes… that would be correct. And only 1 item per order for the discount code to work properly for each item.
It is a puzzle that works great…. when it is figured out.

The Discount Code is working for the Battery Carriers Jason.

Excellent, glad it worked out!! Your welcome…… :+1:
Just keep in mind the blf gt is very difficult to open and shaving the xhp70.2 will result in green tint…
Slicing the NW led might very well have some green in it since it is a tint code C. The B and C leds are towards the green side of the Black Body Locus (BBL).
The CW is right on top of the BBL, so it probably won’t have much green or pink in it. It should have a more neutral tint, not to be confused with the neutral white color temperature.
Got my NW BLF GT70 ordered with discount.
My workaround to get my order in with discount.- followed the email link
- logged into my account
- did a search for blf gt70
- clicked on blf gt70
- choosed NW as my LED
- NONE on Battery option
- added Lens cover accsessory
- ADDED to Cart
- clicked on secure checkout
- added Coupon Code from Email
- Clicked on Determine Order tab
- completed purchase with PayPal
- final price fot GT70 and Lens cover $225.00
I had to create two separate orders for conversion kits in order to get the dicount for each.
I created an account prior to ordering.
got email confirmation for my orders
Yep, this is the process^
Ok everyone, finally back online, they always seem to send these emails out when I am away from the computer.
It looks like people had some issues with the links in the email at first. They changed the links after the email text was put together and combined them into the same link as you figured out.
You are correct that you now follow the CW link and just select the NW tint in the options, this is how I asked them to do it at first but they put a separate page up for some reason and now apparently put them all in a single page.
You also must order the conversion kits separately for the code to work I am afraid.
For the conversion kits, they do not include the carriers, that is a mistake on the website, you can buy them separately though. I will ask about the single carrier price but my guess is since I can’t think of a reason to only buy one, we would be better off not complicating things by trying to get another code for a single carrier.
The $28 for 2x is working correct?
Anyone that has not gotten the email send me or JasonWW PM and we will get you a copy of the email.
Anything else I missed that needs to be addressed?
Now to update the OP.
QUESTIONS:
1) When will we see a demonstration of the comparison between the CW and NW?
2) I submitted my interest in the NW. Can I change my mind and order the CW instead?
thanks in advance.
1: Not sure when someone will have both side by side to compare.
2: Yes, you are welcome to order whatever tint you want. The tint poll in the form was simply a poll to get an idea of how many of each tint to make.

Worked fine for me too, I think that’s an excellent price for a pair a carriers, even if the are in fact different than the ones in the original GT.

What’s the purpose of a spare set of carriers?
