(prototype) the GT Mini

3V Cylinder Head Bare 2.190/1.650” Valve 225 Cc Intake - 60 Cc Chamber - Ford Cleveland/Modified
Brand Name: CYLINDER HEAD INNOVATIONS

Part Number: SBF3V225B-60

Description:

The all new 3V 225cc cylinder heads replace the older 218cc heads and are suited for use on competition and serious street engines of 400+ cubic inches in size and making up to and in excess of 650+hp. The new 225cc feature the same minimum cross section (2.4) as the 218cc intake ports are designed to deliver maximum power and torque, for those people not concerned by RPM limitations, but rather wanting to make the most possible torque and horsepower for their competition to wild street power plants.

Oh yeah, $852 each and of course it takes two. :stuck_out_tongue:

That’s not a Ford head 100% for sure. Atleast not from a modern 3-valve 4.6L/5.4L. For one the valve arrangement is wrong (Ford heads have the single exhaust valve centered), plus if we were to say just for s&g’s thay maybe those were aftermarket Ford heads with non-factory valve geometry we’d still be able to prove that wrong as the intake ports are no where near correct. Not only would the ports not line up but the two decks (head to intake manifold) wouldn’t meet up at all on those things.

I’ll bet money those arnt Ford 3v heads. Hell it could even be an i4 head off who knows what.

I google searched by the stamped in coding, and it came back as a Ford head. A custom racing Ford head.

Neither your money loss nor Teacher’s best intent helps me much though, and it was his offering of 3 choices to help me that got all this started. Best intentions and all that…

Oh crap, I had opened this page awhile before you posted that and just had a minute to type my response…

Turns out we’re both correct! They’re 3v heads for an OLD Ford motor such as the 351 Cleveland which was originally a 2v engine. Not modern 4.6 / 5.4 3v heads at all.

Betting money they aren’t Ford heads lightens your wallet some, huh?

I did specify in the post I was sure they wernt modern 3 valve 4.6 / 5.4 heads. We have several in our fleet I’m responsible for and unfortunately I’ve had to have heads off them more times than I care to count (this isn’t faulting the engine family, just the Mexicans that work for my boss).

Other than their existence I know nothing of the old stuff. The 351c went out of production 5 years before my time lol.

I had 351W heads on my 302 in my ’74 Comet. Drove a ’71 Station wagon of my dad’s with a 351C in it. We once had a 70 LTD with a 400 that would smoke tires till you took your foot off the gas. Great big heavy car, plenty of muscle.

But none of that helps here, of course. Easy getting off track, isn’t it? lol

I had a starsky and hutch ’75 gran torino replica. can’t remember if it had the cleveland and i put in the windsor, or a windsor and i put in a cleveland. in any event, some jackass cut me off, and totalled it. i was a cop at the time, and i went to apply for the state police exam. they told me they didn’t want me when i pulled in the parking lot. i told them i probably wouldn’t take the job anyway because i was on the swat team and having too much fun.

back to topic gentlemen! ;)

take a cleaning glove to the thread

Oops… caused a little mayhem here… lol.
Sorry M4X…

Did anyone receive the diffuser? my package was missing this part, perhaps they’re back ordered?

I received mine.

My gt mini I ordered on my birthday and shipped Aug 4th has finally been scanned in the US @ ISC Chicago! Hope to get it sometime next week.

Cant find this in search.

Does it memorise turbo?

Is it the same software and ui as BLF Q8?

Yes, just updated with a couple of new features.

Same UI as the Q8 plus

  • x5 is a momentary mode e.g. for morse signalling. You have to disconnect the batteries to quit momentary

- In Modes and Strobes you can now navigate backwards with hold. The Q8 is locked in in a mode when you use hold, it has a 1.5sec time out .

- Top of the ramp is only 50 or 80%. You must use a double click to go to turbo

Thank you.

Thank you.

One should swap the driver spring right after getting the Mini, its awful!, it causes lumen/lux flutctuatuins up to 20%. Otherwise, it if has a rear switch: the best nearly edc/all arround thrower light so far

Ofc i reworked mine
