I did specify in the post I was sure they wernt modern 3 valve 4.6 / 5.4 heads. We have several in our fleet Iām responsible for and unfortunately Iāve had to have heads off them more times than I care to count (this isnāt faulting the engine family, just the Mexicans that work for my boss).
Other than their existence I know nothing of the old stuff. The 351c went out of production 5 years before my time lol.
I had 351W heads on my 302 in my ā74 Comet. Drove a ā71 Station wagon of my dadās with a 351C in it. We once had a 70 LTD with a 400 that would smoke tires till you took your foot off the gas. Great big heavy car, plenty of muscle.
But none of that helps here, of course. Easy getting off track, isnāt it? lol
I had a starsky and hutch ā75 gran torino replica. canāt remember if it had the cleveland and i put in the windsor, or a windsor and i put in a cleveland. in any event, some jackass cut me off, and totalled it. i was a cop at the time, and i went to apply for the state police exam. they told me they didnāt want me when i pulled in the parking lot. i told them i probably wouldnāt take the job anyway because i was on the swat team and having too much fun.
One should swap the driver spring right after getting the Mini, its awful!, it causes lumen/lux flutctuatuins up to 20%. Otherwise, it if has a rear switch: the best nearly edc/all arround thrower light so far
Hi guys, after about 45 days my gt mini arrived today.
What mods are needed to have it draw the full 5.5A claimed? I was under the impression noneā¦
First I tried a ~3 month old 35E that I took out of another light that was reading 4.11v and measured the current at the tail on turbo and I only got 3.32A so I charged up an also very good condition 30Q and measured again fresh off the charger (@4.20v) and still only get 3.35A.
Double click to turbo right?
Do I need to bypass the springs and maybe swap to 18AWG LED wires?
