[UPDATE Sofirn 11.11 SALE; yuji led C01 and SP36 will be available!!!]

It should start charging right away. This is an e-switch light, so it’s always “on”, so to speak.

Thanks. This sounds like a great light for muggles, I just hope it’s not 6500K angry blue.

Angry blue might be more 7500K-8000K. This one look pretty warm in the pictures (in the Aliexpress store reviews). I would guess 4000K-5000K, but it’s hard to judge pictures.

For what its worth, I just noticed that ‘available’ does not mean ‘in stock’. Its listed as ‘In stock on October 5, 2018’.

I’m very excited about the SC31. It’s a good price and looks to be an easy mod. Click to turn on/off, press and hold to choose brightness, tail standing, usb rechargeable! :+1: I hope it fits 16mm MCPCB. If that’s the case I’ll buy a bunch put in some E21A on 16mm boards from Clemence and gift them to muggles.

Good review here and love the German accent.

Here is longer more in depth Russian review;

Ordered one just now.
Amazon says must be shipped Ground because of battery.

Before I would gift them to muggles, I would check that is has low voltage protection. I don’t think the included battery is protected? So if it doesn’t have lvp, I’d swap in a protected 18650.

Good point. I hope it has LVP.

5350-5700K

2200mAh battery included

No separate charger. I just telling it has the same function of light+battery+charger for that low price.

Who are muggles?

No LVP, but the indicator does remind of low voltage. If the voltage down to 2.5V, light turns off, just recharge it with the USB charging cable, it comes back to life.

In the world of Harry Potter, muggles are non-magical people.

On BLF, muggles are people that don't know much about flashlights or Li-Ion cells.

Love your lights! You should consider starting to use slightly lower temperature LED’s though (4000k-5000k)

I use to feel that way about Sofirn lights but now I don’t care even if they use 8000k blue-white emitters because the majority of Sofirn lights are not glued and very easy to swap out the mcpcb for other emitters. Just buy some 16mm mcpcb with 4000k or 4500k E21A from Virence.com or a bunch of other emitter options from Kaidomain and MTN and swap it in. Sofirn lights are very mod friendly.

Personally, I think this is a great choice. CCT offerings such as this is one thing that has attracted me to Sofirn from the very beginning.
Besides the fact they make a great light of course.

Keep up the good work Sofirn!! :+1:

The SC31 looks good. I am in for 1. Found a 20% coupon.

I love the Sofirn C8F 21700. Truly advanced technology at an affordable price.

Wait, I didn’t know the C8F 21700 also included levitation technology.

Looks like it’s floating at the table.

LOL :+1:

2 much good stuff!

Lightning Deal of Sofirn Q8 ended. How many of you get it?

C8F is still waiting for you to order. I know some of them, 30% of the inventory, don’t reach the max 3500LM, and that’s why the price is low. We promise a new driver for you to

replace.

In the C8F 21700, it is really hard to see a difference in brightness between the old driver and the new one, so even the old driver is not what I would call “bad”.

Sofirn, it might be best to rate the C8F 21700 lights closer to 3,000-3,200 lumen instead of 3,500. This is more realistic and people will not be disappointed if it’s less than 3500.
