Eveready Gold Alkaline AA CAN

Official specifications:

Regular AA alkaline batteries without any real specification.

The discharge curves are fairly standard alkaline, but the battery is not very good around 0.5A

Conclusion

Fairly standard alkaline performance.

I got the batteries from: a Canadian appreciative of the work HKJ does and shares

How is the test done and how to read the charts
Compare to other AA/AAA batteries: Alkaline/NiMH/Lithium

Interesting. Good to know Alkaline should be used at current below 100mA or 200mA.

Good to know HKJ! Just curious if you have ever used or reviewed the meijer brand alkaline batteries AA or AAA? They call them “POWERCELL”. They come in the typical blister pack (i bought the big combo pack of 36 AA and 12 AAA).
I cant find any info about them online.

Bought them mainly for power outages remotes etc…

Also Harbor Freight (crap products keep your receipt!) Lol. Their thunderbolt AAA have lasted longer than i expected, but not sure what or if they have any decent shelf life.

I have lots of gadgets that use both AAA and AA. Not flashlights. Remotes, smoke detectors, and them free HF little magnetic work lights etc…

Anyone ever use these meijer brand POWERCELL?

No and I do not have them in queue.

Ok thanks. Just thought it wouldnt hurt to ask. Take care
