Okay, so an emitter swap was easy. I took a pipe wrench around the flat sides to grip the light and then water pump pliers to loosen the bezel. I did use 3mm rubber strips in between to avoid scratches and to grip the light. The bezel is glued it came loose easily. It’s 20mm mcpcb and it’s centered by the reflector only.
I swapped in a XHP35 HI 5000K D4 from Mountain Electronics. The beam is excellent…

I received mine last week. It is an excellent light and very bright. The UI is nice. Finish and build quality is excellent. I compared it to my Nitecore EDC23 and the Rofis is slightly brighter with a more concentrated hotspot/beam.
