Hey guys, just wondering if any of you guys follow MMA. I followed the sport from very start back in 1994 when on pay per view until today. I followed all the federations that were back then.
UFC, Strikeforce, World Fighting Alliance, Affliction, Bodog, Wold Extreme Cage fighting, etc….
until today’s federations : UFC, Bellator, OneFc, PFL, etc…
BTW, did you see Conor Mcgregor loss after all his trashing this past weekend?
My son was in town and so he invited some of his old friends over and bought the pay per view. It was my first pay per view ever. Really enjoyed all of the fights but especially liked the Joe Rogan - Derick Lewis post fight interview which wasn’t censored. Crazy stuff. My kid told me it was coming too. (theres a Utube version of this, interesting watch if you don’t mind swear words) Lewis was losing terribly then knocked out the better fighter with 11 seconds left. All the fights were great, kid had predicted that the Dagistanian would beat Connor as well (although Connor was fighing well) - the crazy ending surprised all of us.
Not a huge fan, but did watch the free version of Conors deservingly getting his a$$ kicked by Nurmagomedov. Once Nurmagomedov gets you on the ground, he's like a bludgeoning worm restricting all your movement.
I’m a huge fan of both UFC and Bellator, was good to see Dana’s cash cow get mauled on Saturday, talk shit get hit…
Khabib is a great fighter. He trained with the bear…
Huge ufc fan here as well. I even have ufc 1-10 recorded on my vhs tapes lol. They should still be at my parents house. I was only in middle school. I do a lil bit of training. Conor had nuthin for khabib. Khabib played a perfect gameplan. Khabib vs gsp would be awesome. If not that, then khabib and ferg

I see, I apologize then. It is a cultural thing as my meaning of that word means "slapped", but I can see where it can be misinterpreted. Again, my apologies if I offended anyone as I did not mean to.

Conor DESERVED to get a WORSE BEATING. BUT he tapped out like the Mctapper/Mcnugget man.
Fergurson will not be able to match Khabib. Ferg striking is not precise as Conor’s, but does have decent ground game. Still Khabib WILL NULLIFY and SUBMIT Ferguson aft fierce ground and pound.

I agree, no way Ferg can best Khabib. As far as Connors, I don't even understand how he gets to say the things he says. In a way it was good though as he got what he deserved and his ego must be deeply bruised by now.
Very true man. Some members here make a big deal of everything. Hence, I do not post or participate here much.
I post every now and then. Just to be active. But not as much anymore due to red tape.
BTW, it was fun watching Conor encompass his true name Mctapper/Mcnuggets.
Ferg has pretty good ground game but lacks striking like Conor. Still Khabib will ground and pound Ferg and submit him.
It kind of leaves a sour taste with me that someone flagged me. Definitely going to shy away from here for awhile. Yep, Conor looked way out of his league with Khabib. I always wondered "who" it will be that sets him straight, and when I heard of this match, I knew Khabib would do the job. Too bad he did not take the high road all the way and walk out like a champ. He didn't need to do anything more as Conor had absolutely nothing on him.
I got marked as rude too, someone obviously has precious eyes, it’s funny because my post will stay that way and the rude thingy disappears after like 1 day
Really enjoyed the Ferguson Pettis fight, man Ferguson is a beast, he just walked him down with reckless abandon. Also enjoy watched The Black Beast get a W with 9 seconds left, but doesn’t deserve a title shot, has zero cardio.

Back to subject, Pettis did well. Ferg is good but Pettis broke hand.
Lewis is one of those guys YOU DO NOT count out. One false move it is LIGHTS OUT no matter if you were winning on scorecards.

Most likely not. Khabib is facing the music for antics after his win. So might be suspended. Ferg will lose. Especially to ground and pound.
Dana said he won’t even try to book those 2 for the 5th time, falls through each and every time! But Dana lies about a lot of stuff, so take what he says with a grain of salt.
As unfair as it might be, I can see Khabib getting a suspension for what he did post fight, and the UFC will use that excuse to strip the title off him. He just isn’t the type of fighter people want to watch.
