[Available again! - BLF special edition light] new Sofirn AAA twisty high CRI 5mm LED

Nuclear power plant. Tritium is a radioactive isotope of Hydrogen, and could set off sensitive monitors in certain locations. And since literally everything is taken very seriously, in the name of nuclear safety, then setting off or causing a monitor to alarm could be a big deal.

Thanks for the info guys. The question on reflector polishing was just a curiosity, I see that it may not help, but rather potentially cause some adverse effects.

Please add me for two in 5600k. Thanks!

 I expected all the possible answers containing myths an paranoia, but not the only valid reason not to want a tritium vial at work.

Yeah, that was definitely NOT expected! :stuck_out_tongue:

Nuclear power plant or navy nuke crew member was my first guess, followed by a nuclear medicine department.

Haha, you guys are funny! I used to also keep one of those tritium vials on my keychain, but not anymore. Now Iā€™m wondering what the myths and paranoia are all about? I guess side discussions are okay if we are just waiting on updatesā€¦

Please add me to the list for 5 if they come in at $6 before Christmas or 3 if they come in under $10.

Sofirn is trying to make it before 11.11 which is known as double eleven deal day on aliexpress! I believe 5-6 weeks before Christmas is long enough to arrive.

Hope everything will be as planned.

Thanks for the insight, Barry! :+1:

I would like my name down for 2 of each tint please?

Doh! I hadnā€™t realized that my last post on this altered my already existing request for a number of lights- I had forgotten that I already had myself put on the list. I just got so excited about these lights!

OK, so I apologize, butā€¦ please put me BACK to 3 of the 5600k variants.

At 7ish lumens, 12+ hours of runtime, the durability, potted or not and the small size factor, these lights will suit me greatly for a few uses. Would be great if the GB can get more than just black for a colorā€¦ But, eh, take what we can get considering.

I would like two @ 3200K and four @ 5200K. I think I got the temps right, but you can infer I want two at the warmer temp and four at the whiter temp.

If not too late, Iā€™ll take two of each

If not too late I am in for one of each tint

@djozz
Do you have an Astrolux A01?
Mid should be about 7lm.
A beam comparison would be interesting.

No sorry I donā€™t, never liked those round designs.

:+1: Looking good. Canā€™t wait for the release.

If its still open Iā€™m interested in two of the 3200k. Thanks.

I would be interested in two of each.

If that price comes out anywhere near accurate, Iā€™d take at least 2 warms and probably 1 cool as well, just for comparison.
