I’m not sure when or why the sig pics changed to Halloween’s Michael Myers and Friday the 13th’s Jason.
Halloween 2018 is due out, he’s jazzed about it.

As much gore or more than “Halloween” and the movie comes with a rating that restricts viewing.
I think the TV series deserves a restriction on who views it also.
But it’s rated R though (i think?).
Not for children, and for good reason.
I doubt that you will find to many school age children who don’t recognize those characters, and as chinooker said, the weekly TV series “The Walking Dead” make the movies seem a bit bland. That said I am not a horror buff at all but it is not in the same category as the pornography that you suggest

The good parts on the delay on the FW3A are that a) we can talk about other members signatures and not caring about thread’s topic (LOL) and b) it will give us more space/time to mod/build flashlights in the pursue of good / perfect / so-so EDC flashlights 
Unfortunately, repeated/exaggerated/outrageous/excessively flamboyant violence/gore tends to inure the viewer and requires even more to illicit a visceral response.
