6th Annual BLF / Old Lumens Scratch Made Light Contest - FmC's Hand Made entry. Jack's Survival Sack!

I am getting a missing image filler, too. :frowning:

Thanks folks - Iā€™ve re-linked the pictures.

Hopefully they are visible now :+1:

I finally see the pics.

Guess whoā€™s back, back again?
Jack is back, tell a friend! :sunglasses:
Good luck with the builds FmC (the flashlight and the story  )

Pics are good, stories good. I believe Jack is doing all the work, I really do. Are you by chance any relation to Captain H. M. ā€œHowling Madā€ Murdock? Iā€™m noticing some familiar traitsā€¦

Tell us what really happened. Did Jack get lost in the garden after a big night and took shelter under a solar garden light?

Love your stories/builds

Iā€™m not sure what happened to Captain Murdoch after the 80ā€™sā€¦ I heard he immigrated somewhere

Lol - thatā€™s probably closer to the markā€¦.

Very nice start FmC, glad that Jack is back on board on this yearā€™s build! That composite stuff is great, I have some in orange, a leftover from a building site. It is a pity you can not get it easy.

:+1: Cool!

Pics are good now, and everything looks like itā€™s coming together nicely, in spite of Jackā€™s help! :smiling_imp:

People here are so devilishly clever. Scary sometimes.

Great work, keep Barbie out of the picture or Jack will never finish in timeā€¦

Good luck with the build, Jack !

Why use 219As? Iā€™ve never seen those emitters used in a light before. Granted, Iā€™ve only been in the hobby for a couple years. I think they were obsolete by the time I started.

perhaps they were already on hand??

Itā€™s what I had lying about, plus they are renowned for a nice Rosy tint, which Jack is fond ofā€¦

Nice progress wee man  :+1:

I find it amazing the sheer work that goes into setting up pics of Jack at work as compared to the work going into the project itself. Well done! So well thought out and an incredibly interesting way to go about it!

What do you mean by setting up pictures of Jack? :person_facepalming:

You know, getting the pics without disturbing his work, tricky doing that. Most talented artists do NOT like having their photo taken at work. Disrupts the flow or something, they say.
