Ok. After months and months of following this thread, you’ve lured me in. Please add me to the list of interested light enthusiast that hide they’re hobby from their wives.
This is one of my least worrisome justifications to my wife. We haven’t lately, butt we have had many outings that would have benefited from this project.
Once Lexel gets the driver prototypes built & sent to Toykeeper to tesat with the firmware, then to send one to Barry at Sofirn to test and finishing working on the first lantern prototype to get it rolling. ( i hope.
I’ve, unfortunately, discovered BLF. This is not good…not good at all.
Please add me to the list of those likely to buy the ULF…(I haven’t even told my wife about the Taser Strikelight (hey, it was 25% off!) and I’m already modifying it…
On 1x18650, the runtimes are 1/4th as long as with 4x18650. It is a consistent ratio. If you know the runtime with 4 cells, you also know the runtime with 1, 2, or 3 cells. Just multiply by 0.25, 0.50, or 0.75.
Very true, which will be determined once we can get a production prototype to test each of the stepped modes using good brand name cells. Right now i have not really tested the V2 with its current set up & amp-drain at the different modes, but the V1 was tested to run well past 12 hours on maximum mode on four good cells.
