Its the time of the year when crazy 11.11 deals come up, anything you guys have in mind that you want to look into?
What’s the hot item this year? Any good deals anyone can pass along? What are you dreaming of, wishing for, or actually camping out for? Are 11.11 deals really worth it? Thinking of getting a new thrower
Most AliExpress “deals” are not worth much, sellers raise the prices significantly before applying a 11/11 “discount”. Haven’t checked Gearbest yet but will later this weekend.
However, there are a few black friday deals coming up that might be worth something. Some of the ad scans are already out.
From my Aliexpress experience, 11.11 prices tend to indeed be lower than regular ones. But usually by literally several cents. I’m yet to see a deal that would be way below what you pay normally.
With GB, BG you get really great deals mixed up with pretty bad ones; where regular price elsewhere is way lower than the “deal”. Frankly, I got caught on such “deals” several times because that $1 seemed cheap and I got 1 hour to decide. Not a big loss, but anyway it made me quite sceptical….
So far, none of flashlight deals that I have seen advertised right now with the 11:11 symbol are any lower than normal sales deals of the past. I'm sticking with black friday and hoping to get a good deal somewhere in the U.S.
If I recall correctly last cyber-super-duper-flash-sales on Amazon were quite disappointing in terms of flashlights and accessories, not only in Europe (DE/UK/FR/ES/IT) but also in US/CA.
I started similar thread few weeks ago to understand the 11.11. hype. Seems that most sellers indeed increase the prices before providing coupons or “discounts”. Still waiting for some really interesting deals, up to now it wasn’t that spectacular. Lets see what pops up on 11.11., but I keep my expectations low.
It’s that time of the year again. Big sellers empty the shelves of their suppliers and manufacturers. And give coupons on (higher than regular) prices. My advice is: sit this one out. Unless you are looking for something special and are worried this is you final opportunity to buy it. Chances are that somewhere between 11-11 and Christmas there will be a moment that the big sellers empty their own shelves. Then the time has come to watch out for flash deals where the (fewer) remaining items are sold.
Edit: almost everything I have bought in the past is now listed at a higher price than I have payed for it.
And now the introduction of shipping cost. Sometimes at the very last moment of the ordering process.
