some ppl eat spam

I’m trying to get this subject accepted. OK!

It won’t let me add the content that I am trying to spotlight…OK
There are various spams using various fonts that don’t respond to spam filters.
And won’t even show up on this forum.

When I delete the spams, then my message shows up.

I have a few email addresses as I suspect most of us do.
I have one with my ISP/cable that I try to keep spam free.
Lately, I have been inundated by these stupid multi-font messages which seem immune to marking them as spam.
any suggestions?

I don’t eat SPAM. But I have eaten SPAM in the past. It wasn’t so bad.

EDIT: It’s possible that your ISP might have a more aggressive filter setting that you can choose. Something like “Only accept messages from my contacts” is one I’ve seen before. The problem of trying to block SPAM is that unless your email provider is aggressive with it, many will still get through. I have two email providers: Yahoo and Google. Both of them do a decent job of preventing me from having to see SPAM. The flip side is that the more aggressive the SPAM filtering, the more likely you will lose some mail that isn’t SPAM. Both Yahoo and Google mail have a SPAM folder that I can look through if I’m missing a mail that I was expecting to get. I’d rather have a few false positives to deal with than have to look at the SPAM in my Inbox every time I log in.

not helpful, butt understandable as my attempts to include the posts were not accepted
I’ll try a picture

Spam and eggs are awesome.

I should try that some time.

you guys are really missing my point and it isn’t easy to get past this spam bot
F*it, I’ll try again tomorrow to clue you in.
until then sleep sweet innocents.

just a sample of the crap in my inbox

Did you not go back and read my first post edit? Your email provider should be blocking SPAM. It isn’t up to the SPAMMERS to block themselves. Either your ISP has better SPAM blocking available as a setting somewhere, or you should just not use that email any more.

I don’t think you grok what I’m saying.
My email accepts my labels as spam on each item.
Butt the next iteration of their spam uses a new/altered font which doesn’t exactly fit the last one.
Anyway BLF would not accept my copy/paste of my samples and would not post as a new item.
so I tried this way.

I know what you’re saying. I guess I left out a part of what I was saying, thinking you probably already knew. So, here it is: SPAMMERS these days use ever-changing faux email addresses in the FROM field. So, marking one email as SPAM does exactly that: mark ONE email as SPAM. What you need is a better, more aggressive SPAM filter to begin with. Otherwise, you will never be rid of SPAM, by marking them one at a time.

Sorry chinooker, didn’t mean to make a joke of your problem. I have had the same email address for I guess 10 or so years now. I have never really had a big spam problem. One skips in once and a while but not very often. I’d say only a few times a month. Nobody I know really emails me. Might have something to do with most of my buddies are old enough to remember steam powered cars and still mostly communicate in morse code. I really only use it for sites that want it so I can create accounts and what not. Wish I had some kind of email voodoo magic to share with you.

SPAM IS MY FAVORITE!! SPAM, sunny side up egggs, and garlic fried rice.

What kind of charactజ్ఞాs work?

Spam, eggs, sausage and Spam!

I use Thunderbird email client. Seems to learn what is spam and what isn’t quite well. Every now and then an email I’m expecting gets filtered into the spam folder, but thats it.

Mmmmmm,spiced ham.
