I don’t recall the exact test conditions, but I think I set the limit pretty low on one and didn’t point a fan at it, while the other used defaults and had a little bit of air moving past.
The sustainable level really does change quite a bit depending on your configuration and environmental conditions.
This has been going on for soooo long.
Any chance of getting a “current update” on where it actually stands now.
today.
What would I get if I ordered one tonight, with what choices?.
I can’t find the pages with details of body. drivers. Batt, etc.
Just pages and pages of people being people, IE Round in circles while getting nowhere.
It could be an interesting light if it replaces/updates something I have at present.
at around $30/35ish.
There are no updates other than we are waiting to hear about the latest round of prototypes.
Actual orders are not being taken yet. If you want to reserve a light, just say so. If your not interested, that’s okay too. You are not obligated to buy.
Please don’t come here demanding info. You will be seen as a jerk and treated as such. Be respectful and ask nicely. Thank you.
Well…this thread is a year and a half old. Excuse me for not remembering if i chimed in my interest at various points in time.
I honestly dont need the light im just trying to support a forum project. Like i said in my most recent post, ill take 2 if @$30
Its hard to gauge my interest since no details are final.
I think he was online just long enough to send a private message to the FW3A team. He apologized for not being around, said he’s doing okay but is very busy, and said he’ll make more time for this soon. Otherwise, the answers were “no” about changing the host design, and a plan to isolate the switch signal better by removing the outer contact ring on the spring side of the driver. That way, if the inner tube shifts a little, it shouldn’t touch ground.
