No it didn’t work for me, it returned an error message.
I bought 2 of each tint, didn’t bother with the waiting for price to be reduced, however that is supposed to work…
Maybe that is a USA thing…I canceled the credit card pop up, another window opened with a PayPal option…then completed in PayPal…

Plain and simple, the $6.50 price is not honored if you use PayPal. $6.50+82 cents extra. = $7.82 US payment

No luck here. I tried what you said and still no pay-pal option. Tried other payment options and it just goes straight back to the credit card page. Oh well, I guess I’ll have to do without.
Ordered 10 lights. I wanted to wait for the Red and Blue, but then didn’t want to risk it.
The process was a tad awkward, but after reading some of the messages, I was able to make it work.
To those for whom it seems like too much BS, consider buying the light at the normal price. Still seems like quite a bargain. Or don’t.
You can pay with PayPal….total will be $7.82 I got one coz like you, I will not use CC in China.
I put the items in cart, there was a paypal option. I “paid” for it…went to paypal confirm page…DIDN’T CONFIRM/PAY.
Went back to aliexpress page, waited for price adjustment, then PAID again and got the two windows below.
i got the first window, hit the cancel button, then the window next to it popped up and then paypal’d it.
this is for another order, but it worked for the C01
So I went through all the order steps listed above, not actually paying the $7+ price per light, and putting my BLF userid in the message to seller.
And now what, I wait for some message reply with the BLF price, that lets me pay that?
Paypal worked for me but does not honor the 6.50 price which is disappointing. I’d rather pay the higher price than use cc though.
the ones on aliexpress are not potted right?.

I paid $7.82 for one and 7.02 for the other… woe is me… I paid $1.84 too much! LOL (I dont care)
I saved $7.06 compared to buying 2 Fenix E01 with Angry Blue Low CRI…
Low CRI sucks! Fenix E01 is a “has been”

Paypal price on AliExprees is always higher. Has nothing to do with this light
Just attempted the discount “cheat code” and couldn’t get it to work, so I ended up paying full price. They should either reimburse the difference or something else because this method isn’t cutting it for a lot of us.
Also Ali charges 80 cents for Paypal use.
That is annoying, at least we know Sofirn is doing the best they can.
