15 days to make a first batch of black E07, then the champagne 15 days later and finally 15 more for the grey one. Depending on your LED choice, if it is not the most popular, this should add a further delay, flashlight will be assemble later, then the set will be shipped in 2 to 3 months.
The grey looks slightly more glossy. Glossy anodization always looks more cheap to me, don’t like. Blue/pink aux LED isn’t my cup of tea, I hope there will be an “unglued” option.
Util FF tells us which optic they used, I’m not going to waste time to search up optics. I don’t know what size the ones I saw online are because I wasn’t intentionally looking for them.
If people are willing to pay more maybe they could do a nickel electroplating? It wont lock out manually but it will be more durable and retain the “metal” look.
I could probably live with just the dark gray ano though as long as it isn’t too shiny.
I don’t think anybody has mentioned this here, and there are alot of people asking for Clear Anodized finish… well, looks like your wish has been granted… See below from FF light website:
Some time ago I searched….there are many TIRs around 35 mm, they are used to make MR16 light bulbs. I don’t have any notes, but a quick search finds a few:
Im hoping FF can tell us which Optic they are using or show us a compatible optic with bigger TIR cups for more throw. Im imagining a focuswd 5000 lumens beam with 200kcd throw using the White Flats
