Why are they calling this a white version when the color is actually silver?
Creative marketing would be my guess 
It’s more whitish-silver than normal natural/gray anodization so maybe also to emphasize this difference. AFAIK this is as white anodization as they come - anything more white would be paint, powder, ceramic or similar type coating.

So after all - maybe this type of process and resulting whitish silvery color is colloquially called “white anodizing”…
Ah, so the molecular size of the white dyes are too large to fit into the microscopic pores on the aluminum surface formed during the anodization process. Neat.

It looks like the N8, N16 and N24 models only charge AA or AAA.
Only the C4 model can charge 2 x 18650.
In case anyone was curious.
I think it’s worth noting that it doesn’t mean only Ni-Mh/Ni-Cd chemistries are supported (as AA/AAA designation is commonly associated with them). Slots do indeed appear to have 2 contact points designed for AA and AAA sized cells, but the charger itself is capable of charging Li-Ion (also HV 4.3V variant) and LiFePO4 just fine. So 14500 and 10440 li-ion cells as well. These chargers can even charge NiZn chemistries (1.6V nominal), which is not very common feature. The only thing preventing 18650 charging is the cell size co you could charge them using simple electrical adapter (just to make electrical contact to charging pins). Granted, this however would not be very convenient.
