You have to see this DX

That's exactly how I feel. If I was DX I would tell Celtit worrier to shut up! He must be costing them a lot off money. I have escalated My dispute because of him. He started out being very helpful and then started to accuse me. God knows why he moderates there maybe some kind of power trip, probably been banned from CPF.

I will just wait for PP to refund me and try again in a month or so.

Marc.

BTW DX tries to stall refunds even on normal cancellation by 14 days. I always include standard text blocks like this. "14 days delay is totally unacceptable for a simple refund. Please refund my money immediately otherwise I'm forced to open a PP claim/ report this behavior to PP." Guess what... next day I have my money back. I hate to resort to that kind of pressuring them, but it seems that is the only language they chose to understand. Someday I will make a post about all the text blocks I have accumulated on communications with DX/PP.

And yes you are right DD can be hard work but if I go on 'live chat' now, they will answer within 1 minute. I was on DX live chat for 1 hr 22 mins the other night and still didn't get an answer.

And then there is Summer, Bless her, She's OK. That's why in a previous post some where I said that DD could be come a recommended dealer, and a very good one, with a little bit of work here and there. Having Summer Is an asset to DD and us. That's for sure!

Marc.

Marcl, I would do what any Brit would do under the circumstances. Have a cup of tea and a biscuit and then never, ever use DX again. You know it makes sense!

Lolol, yes they answer, request for pics, some more pics etc...

Whole session for me took 2,5 hours (they answer after, say, 15min latency after each reply) and conclusion was silence after making it obvious I want refund :D

This was the case of unprotected batteries shipped as protected.

Fair enough opening a PP dispute at that point, but at the point I open a dispute (rarely admittedly) I just write it off and await the refund. You can't expect DX to continue with the order process tho IMHO, they should just accept the PP dispute. Hope you get your money and have better success next time :)

Who's brewing up? You or me? Chocolate Hobnob?

No - it's just the way I'm sitting!

DX isn't for everyone. I had a hard time excepting the fact that DX works at there own speed. I have been using them for 2 years now and occasionally I get surprised and receive my stuff in a timely fashion, but mostly it takes forever. If I can find the same item for a similar price I will order it from someplace else. Certainly don't use them if you are in a rush. I have received broken items from them and they always make it right but it takes a long time. Recently I ordered a gun sight from them actually it was in December I got it last week I had forgotten I had even ordered it from them. I haven't heard of them ever ripping anyone off but they certainly piss off a lot of people especially if you don't realize it could be 3 months before you receive your order.

just leave this away ,try to have a nice day

Who is the real loser eventually? Stupid DX!

I got an email saying none of the items I ordered are available so close my dispute and they will refund me. Lol Paypal already refunded me

Marc, just get your money back (cancel the order) and be happy it doesn't get worse than that. :)

Life is too precious to waste worrying on things like this.

I hate DX too, and will never deal with them again unless absolutely necessary. Definitely DX not a place you want to buy high value or important items. DX wasted me a lot of time and never even bothered replying at all my emails/tickets. They refund my PP dispute and claims without even bothering to type any single word. They know the problem was theirs.

But so what, still alive and well, gotten back my money (minus some CC interest of course)... and now I know what to expect of DX... it's basically just a fire and forget site. Or lottery if you want to call it that way.

So, I think, just get your money back and let it go... :)

+1

Eh? I'm not sure what that means. There are people here with 1000s of posts!

Nothing really, I just saw your stats a couple of days ago, and in a moment of clarity, the math of your "Joined Date" and the current date just clicked.

Very prolific. Some people have more to say than others. I realized I'd only had 133 posts in 9 months. That's all.

Kreisler does that between breakfast and lunch. ;-) 1398/122 or a post every ~2 hours.

Not more to say, more to ask. Since I joined I have bought a Klarus p2a, Jetbeam BC40, 2xL2 bodies and 1 XML drop-in. I could not have chosen this stuff with out this forum.

Marc.

I just received a refund through Paypal this morning. Whoever said I would get a refund without them Even replying was right! Not a word.

Just to clarify I am not going to avoid them like the plague, I know they are having problems right now, so I will leave it for a couple of months before I place an order with them again. If they act in the same way, then I will call it a day with them.

Thanks for the replies, Marc.
