Wow that looks great!
How does the tail stay on? Magnet?
Gotta love how CRX produces more flashlights in 1 month than the rest of us combined do in a year.

Very nice work CRX. What size is the square die image, say from 5m to a wall?
Someone please show him how to properly build a flash from scratch.
The man really needs tutoring. Although it’s still kinda impressive what he can do with a coarse file, a chisel, and 80 grit sandpaper.

Go watch the movie “Spectral” on Netflix.
With a couple hours and a roomful of old junk, the guy in that movie assembled enough “Plasma Rifles” to outfit a platoon. Complete with fancy scopes and even a tripod mounted heavy version.

I believe it’s the first time I see a zoomie from scratch. I have a weak spot for zoomies……and this one is truly awesome.
What are lumens in focus and out of focus?

Thanks, I wanted something in titanium about the same form factor as the UF-10 and there is nothing on the market at a sensible price as far as I could see.
I get about 609lm/ 290lm at startup.
Great build again mate
You’re getting a nice set of lights in this style

Just working my way through the tube
I bought 350mm of the titanium so maybe enough left for one more light.

I really want to build my own EDC some day, something like this.
I still need to work on a design that can focus while using a wavien collar though, I won’t accept anything less than the farthest possible throw
