[♛ FreemeGB] Fireflies PL47 Gen II 4*XP-L/ Nichia/ SST20 Hi CRI 21700 Right Angle Flashlight - ENDED

rubber tubing works (eg:like and inner tube) but thats still not idea… For as cheap as £1.23 you may as well get a headband…

printed the mount you link to…

make sure you increase print by 15% as it will be too small for the pl47 general print settings 20% infil an ).2 res… but works a treat… I used the head bands strips from the epic failed ones that came with ou pl47s. Feels very secure… Should work nicely…

The silicone one is a tight fit, but it works. I don’t know if that hard plastic headband you linked would work, the diameter of the PL47 is larger than the Wizard.

Has anyone tried to attach it to their head with duct tape?
A wise man said you can fix anything with duct tape. If you can’t, you’re not using enough duct tape.

I saw a young man walking with Some duct tape and I asked him where are you going with that duct tape. he says I’m gonna catch some ducks. I said you can’t catch no ducks with duct tape. he says, you don’t know what you’re talking about and walked off.
I saw him a few hours later with a bunch of ducks caught in the duct tape. I said “wow, that’s amazing!!”

The Next day I saw the kid walking past my house with chicken wire. I asked him where you going with that chicken wire he says, I’m gonna catch some chickens. I said you can’t catch no chickens with chicken wire. He shook his head at me and says “yeah yeah yeah. you don’t know what you’re talking about.
couple hours later he comes back as a whole crap load of chickens caught up in the chicken wire. I said wow that’s amazing!

The 3rd day i saw him walking past my house with pussywillow in his back pocket. I shouted to him, “Hold up! Let me get my coat!!!”

From some photos I saw earlier, it looks as if FF haven’t used retaining rings for the driver or the tail PCB, but are just relying on contact between the ends of the tube and the PCB surfaces. Perhaps there is no other current path, hence the sensitivity to cell dimensions ?

Since I don’t have one, this is just supposition by me.

LMAO!!!

Seems to make sense to me, but then shouldn’t everyone with a glued-in magnet under the tail cap PCB have the same over-tightening issue? If not, perhaps there is a flaw in my tail-cap. It will be interesting to hear feedback as others receive their PL47’s.

How is the beam on the pl47?

So funny that there is a “Muggle Mode” spelled out in the instruction manual LOL. First time I heard what Muggle meant, I laughed pretty good.

me too …

I like those glowing dice. Tritium ? But they have got to be loaded. Where can I get some ?

The “think of the children” warning is apt.

Are we not all muggles, except for the few wizards ?

nope  not glowing, just reflection from ceiling :student: they are made of Ti and available here … https://www.hkequipment.net/product-p/edcdcex2.htm

Neat! I like my Whisky and may need a few of these.

I hate to waste things so I found a use for the rather Sh*te headband mount…

works a treat… I just removed the loop where headband that goes over top of head is…. I found it seemed to get caught on things when it was still present.

What is the correlation between titanium cubes ablnd whisky?

Cool idea! It holds well enough that it’s not aging to accidentally pop out?

pretty solid to be honest and due it’s orientation will be fairly hard to knock it too….

Well done!

Put them in the freezer and use them as ice cubes that dont melt and dilute your drink.

So, guys and gals, I have not received the light yet.

Do you think I should go for a refund, or not? I’ll be getting my PL47 from Neal if I have to with Express shipping.
