I want the chalky blue (cyan) color back please. I never got a chance to get that color and I own 4 emisar lights. I would love a d1s with a flat white.
I would purchase at least three. Would you consider offering the other flat white? The 2x2mm one. I like that it still throws very well but now with almost twice the lumens.

Ok, you got me. I want, cause I like, a lot.

I have a D1S with the Titanium 18650 tube from the Ti D4, the D1S is black with the Ti tube, love it. Can you perhaps offer us a clear anodized D1S with the White Flat? Basically don’t bead blast it after machining and don’t put it in a dye bath, just straight from the machines and into the ano, then seal it. Could you do that? I’d (and many other’s I’m sure) absolutely love a clear machined finish D1S! Most especially if it could have the square blocky knurling of the Titanium D4 18650 tube… Oh Yeah!

Can you make a new reflector for this led for D1? I think it could reach 70-80 kcd or more easy.
Also 21700 versions will be good for D1 and D1S

This is very interesting. It would really leave everything else in the dust.

I also hope for the V3 or newer interface, because I use the stepped ramp on throwers. The smooth ramp is great indoors, but outside I almost always use the stepped ramp instead.

I also would think it’d be cool to have a 21700 or 26650 option with the D1S. As it stands I think the 18650 tube looks awkwardly thin and out of place.

with this osram led you can make a tube light with one led that out throws D1 with XP-L HI.

I”m interested in a LED, driver, and centering ring “upgrade” kit.
I really like my Emisars, but think the throw difference from the D1 to the D1S should be greater.
This would fix that!

Hey Hank, I really like how you jump on the latest greatest thrower LED. It can really make your products so much better than what you’ve shown is a good example.

But please let me join others with the question:
Is the driver going to be regulated?
Many of BLFers are savvy enough to use only weak cells with FET+white flate combo. But we’re an exception….you could artificially increase resistance in your host, but that would be a hack rather than a solution.

I wanted to do the same to mine.
GT Mini, D1…some good lights that turn out to have too poor reflectors for that LED.
And actually both have been my white flat candidates.

That’s a different alloy and different thickness, but how thin would ano have to be to produce practically no colour change?
