I’m still confused and I’d love it if someone could either show me something that I overlooked or clear up the missing information.
This light can either use 2x26350 or 2x26650 cells.
There are no pictures showing different battery tubes for the large difference in battery length.
Do the pictures show the setup for 2x26350 cells (which makes sense from the in-hand pictures and the length measurement listed on the ordering page)? It looks to me like a beefed up C8 in size.
Will a 2x26650 setup look more like an L6 or a 2xD-cell Maglight?
Is there a spacer or something else included if that picture is indeed the 2x26650 setup. The order page only lists that a flashlight is included in the sale.
Again, if I’m missing something, please let me know. I kinda like the idea of a Q8-sized head and a thinner battery tube form. If it has a longer battery tube, it might make for a formidable defensive tool.
Really sorry for the late reply, but I had to think hard about this one (good grief you stumped me there). Here’s the thing, this light is a good example I think of one of Haikelite’s strength, which is producing lights with an unusual format. I also think the SC04 is one of the early birds with high CRI SST20 leds. I’m also a sucker for the khaki colour, so this light is a winner.
However, I know I’m just not going to use this light. It’s not exactly a small light, so either I go larger and use the MT07S or MT09R, or I go smaller and use a single 18650 light, or an SC26. I’m also just not a (multi) 26650 light guy.
So I’m worried should I receive this light, I’m just going to check it out and that’s it; it will just collect dust. I have more than enough lights, and I really want to avoid getting new lights that I’m certain of not using. I really realised that today when I saw Banggood listing the SC04, I was indifferent about it. A light needs a good home you know.
Nevertheless, thank you so much for your very kind gesture as I do appreciate it a lot, and my apologies again for the stupid late reply.
