Christmas coming…

One of Best Ever Christmas Song for me:

David Essex - Winters Tale

There are many more Christmas songs that you can share !

btw, in my country, from some days all around is white (snow) and constantly with minus temperatures…

Rob’s voice can still give me shivers…

And something of a Christmastime classic…

Eh, why not one more…

First, if you want the lyrics…

Second, if you want to see some great legs. (RIP, Patty… )

Lady GAGA

I saw The Ramones up close and personal several times at CBGB’s in Manhattan back in the 70’s. I love that band.

you wasent a band in the old days before you had played CBGB’s ( US ) or the Marquee club ( UK )

Sadly both venues are long gone as far as i know, which also prove that yes we did manage to make our world a worse place in our own lifetime. :person_facepalming:

Ha! That’s so kewl…

Ah, but can they do the Till Hammer?

yeah a pretty cool video.
Wonder how long it took to set up, even with the lot easier setup of robots today.
I don’t like working with them, lost my last job to one, a robot that was 300 % slower than me and used at least 1/3 more paint, and did a worse job than i did by hand, and no its not like i set it up to fail, i am not that kind of guy, but everything have limitations in this case complex shaped transmissions.

But job just wanted that damn robot, and so they did and lost a painter / surface treatment specialist / machine worked / tool maker / engineer and all around good guy in the process.

Since Heilung I've been getting into Norse music. This young lady has some remarkable music.

Sounds like this ep of TZ…

Rube Goldberg music box.

Apologies if it's a dupe.

Nice!

If you are handy and have the tools, there are a lot of nice things you can make with wood, from really nice furniture / art to mechanical gadgets of all sorts.
I think if i had a house with a little place where i could work with metal and wood, i would only be in the house to eat and sleep.

In leu of my educations i would prefer to work in Metal, so need the tools and machines for that, and with a lotto win right after house buy / build, would come machine buying.
And maybe wayyyy down the line buying of toys like a lotto winner normally do

Lathe ( maybe CNC ) mill - welders - plasma cutters ASO are high on my wish list, wayyyy higher than any Italian sports car.

Dalida & Alain Delon - Paroles, paroles

Hi Guys, and a Happy New year of music to you all…

There is another memorable group that I don’t think we’ve mentioned in this ocean…
And the band I’m talking about is…The Band!!

I love The Band. I’ve got most of their albums on vinyl. And I also have The Last Waltz on DVD. I have to say Music From Big Pink and Stage Fright are my favorites.

Happy New Year to all of you loving music friends!

We can change hobby, car, wife/partner probably also, but it seems as though the addiction to the music remains to the end… :star:
I am happy that we have this nice forum.

Thank you Robowski for The Band reminder.
They are invariably milestone along the highway of the rock for me.

The Band … the Weight 1969 @ woodstock live

Glenn, I can tell you one more time that I envy you for seeing live, many of the legends of the music of our time.
This can not be repeated…

I’ve found here in the topic useful info that I have never met before.
Thanks sparkyDK for the info about CBGB’s and the Marquee club. I missed this.

Cheers…
