My lights arrived yesterday in the UK.
The clips are trash, but this is only a minor annoyance as there was some debate in development as to whether a clip would even be included or might cost extra.
Everything else about the lights is as I expected when I placed the order. I love the light quality - the high CRI and the almost even field (slight hotspot on the 5600, barely noticeable on the 3200, you wonāt notice either if youāre not pointing it at a white wall) make it very pleasant.
The output level is interesting - itās perhaps a little brighter and floodier than I was expecting. I was considering gifting one to a relative who needs something for reading in church but itās too bright for that - much more than a mini maglite or the ālowā on my other AAA lights. Of course weāve discussed how itās not enough to light up a dark forest track or for search and rescue at sea. Between those extremes, however - indoor use, something to keep in the car, or for outdoor tasks such as map reading or whatever - itās just what I want. Enough light to do the job when needed, and no risk of retinal injury.
I was looking for low-cost lights to keep in bags, jacket pockets and the car and provide decent illumination at times when I would otherwise be using my phone or the tiny light on my keychain Swiss Army knife.
If reliability and durability are as intended (and I wonāt be using them as hard as some of you have been already) then this project is a triumph. Congratulations to all involved (except the muppet who was in charge of QC on the clips).
Really like the quality of mine. Like the cylinder shape too.

FWIW, my C01 has the same āfeatureā, the head came off in my pocket yesterday, and I did not even have to wait for the O ring to age. This proves that the C01 and E01 have the same Amazing Quality!.. LOL!!!.

What a great post! I like your attitude, and agree with everything you said about the barely visible little hotspot :-). Slightly surprised the light is too bright for church, but, I have not tried, so will respect your experience.
My clips are very stiff, the first thing I did was remove themā¦ I feel like a traitor, and slightly guilty for making Sofirn include themā¦

Jon, Iām not dissing the C01 at all, just that the threads and o-ring on my 7-year-old ECDād E01 āfeelā better. I never said one is better than the other at all.
I understand, agree, and hope you took no offense at my sense of humor.
The difference in āfeelā you are experiencing (and I agree there IS a difference in feel),
is Only because of the differences in the O rings.
The āfeelā has absolutely nothing to do with the threads, which are equally sloppy on both brands, as demonstrated by my rollAlight videos (which are with O rings installed btw).
you could put your Fenix head on your Sofirn body, and the āfeelā will match the Fenix Bodyā¦ its the O ring, not the threadsā¦ reallyā¦
dont take my word for itā¦ check for yourselfā¦ it could be a real eye opener, it was for me

Well, it looks like I have a long wait ahead of me. I ordered mine December 10th. It has been stuck in the GUANGZHOU Sorting Center since 12-12.
Lumintop also has a magnetic tail cap for the Tool AAA in black. I know because I ordered one. I just canāt remember who I got it from, it think it was Ebay.
I ordered November 10 and mine is also still in Guangzhou. Iām on ābuyer protectionā extension #3.

It indeed a complete mystery how shipping from China sometimes works.

On a side note, to illustrate my point; on 11 December I placed 4 seperate orders with Banggood in the span of 20 minutes.
Each order contained 2 x Lumintop EDC01.
- One order was sent to Cardiff Wales UK with PAID shipping & Tracking. It arrived 18 Decemberā¦. 7 days.
- One order sent to Glencoe, AL USA with FREE shipping & no Tracking. It arrived 26 Decemberā¦ā¦ 15 days
- The remaining two orders were sent to Glencoe, AL USA both with PAID shipping & Tracking. According to Trackingā¦. neither of those packages have even reached the USA yetā¦ā¦
Sooooā¦ this time anyway:
- Paid Banggood shipping to the UK was pretty quick.
- FREE Banggood shipping to the USA was pretty quick also.
- PAID Banggood shipping to the USA was a complete waste of money.
You just never know about shipping from CHINA to the USAā¦. unless it is DHL of course. But that is expensiveā¦ $$$ ā¦ 
Oh yeah, the reason 4 orders were placed is because the code I used had a limit of 2 units per order. BUTā¦ the code could be used multiple times.
