Nitecore EA41 cw ————————————— Seeker NS22 3000k, 95cri

What driver does it use? Is there any PWM at any level, or current controlled?

Looks like a great deal! I do not have an SST20 LIGHT,3000k Looks nice and it will fit in my Catapult V6 Holster. :+1:

Not a deal breaker, but ….does it TAIL STAND?

The rubber boot does protrude a wee bit it can’t stand stably.

At just a bit less than $22 after code, it’s a lot of light for the money, a great deal indeed.

The SST20, 95cri, 3000k led is surprisingly pleasant.

Sorry, l don’t have the qualification to answer this. :person_facepalming:

BTW, does putting your phone in video recording mode then seeing a ‘strobbing’ effect mean pwm?

I really only use tail stand for this TYPE of light for my run time tests. It is no big deal.Easily improvise.

I pulled the trigger and got the SST20 3000k W/ 21700 ADAPTER…$24.58 :+1:

This light has better tint/CRI than the TK35vn XML2 PDT that I sold 8 months ago. That light was 1000L/95Kcd,this light has more lumens. the additional 5Kcd of the TK35vn certainly will NOT be noticeable and I am sure I will like 3000K better,a steal for less than $25,the only question would be longevity/durability.

Thanks for the deal

I got the 21700 extension. The SST20 3000K version is 5A on Turbo.

Do you think the Samsung 50E[9.8A] would provide enough amps? It seems like it , but I wonder if that is a better choice than the Samsung 40T which is ~ 25A continuous with 4000mAh.

My questions are always peice meal!!

1.Are those specs LED lumens OR OTF? My guess is LED,Hope I am wrong.

It would actually be perfect. You will get absolute maximum capacity since you aren’t pushing triple/quad/seven emitters at once.

50E…Right?

Yes of course the 50E. What other cell was I talking about?

In this light, it is a better choice than the 40T.

Thanks for those pics. The hotspot looks amazingly round and clean, and the throw seems very impressive too especially for a 95CRI emitter. I have the same SST-20 3000k on order almost a month ago from Neal and should be receiving it soon. I haven’t seen a HI CRI WW thrower before so this would be interesting.

You bet it has.

I just wanted to clarify it. You did not mention other cells,I did.

My question was kind of a common sense question, just wanted to get another opinion, instead of bothering HKJ!

,Happy New Year!

@ Tatasal OR someone who knows the answer.

Are they talking about LED lumens in the specs OR OTF??? As I indicated in post # lucky 13,My guess would be LED lumens,Hope I am wrong.

Hi wolfdog1226,

Your query forwarded to Neal. I can’t figure out the Chinese spec sheet.

Thanks

Neal just replied he thinks it’s led lumens too…and personally, such a relatively small light company most probably won’t have the facility to use otf lumen.

Doubt it’s LED lumens though.

The SST-20 70CRI can easily reach 1350+ lumens at 5A. If we remove 10% from the optics, it becomes about 1200 lumens OTF.

Hi to all, is also the 5000k sst20 version with 95cri or only the warmer tints?

The SST-20 95CRI only goes up to about 4300k with the FA1 tint bin.
