NIGHTWATCH Seeker NS22 3000K, SST20, 95cri, comparative beamshots; discount code in OP: new photos added bottom of op

The SST-20 95CRI only goes up to about 4300k with the FA1 tint bin.

Looks like this NS22 SST20, 3000k, 95cri version is making waves (brisk business) in Neal’s site.

yep, I had to go back and grab one of those after I got my XHP 50.2 5000k

I was one of the MANY Ripples! :sunglasses:

I am looking forward to it. It has plenty of output to qualify for one of my secondary lights that I bring on the trail every night.

Just a little update. CAPO[My Husky] and I just passed the 18Kmiles[28,968KM] on the trail.Day by day it adds up. Three years from now, at this pace we will surpass 25K mikles,One lap around the world.

When we enjoy something, dedication no longer seems like work, it becomes pleasurable.

DAY 1-March 18,2011

Last winter

NO Exaggeration. If it was not for him, I would NEVER have gotten into torches!

:+1: to Capo

Hi, does anyone know the CRI of the 5000k version? Wondering about grabbing one, but the 3k might be too warm for me.

I sent Neal your message, let’s hope he has information on this.

What’s listed in Neal’s site are SST20 3000k, 4000k, 5000k and 6500k version.

That’s a good question, I want to know too.

Thanks, let me know if new info pops up :+1:

It’s has 70 cri

AFAIK, Luminus has specified the 5000K and 6500K SST-20 to 70CRI whereas the 2.700K, 3000K and 4000K are specified with 95CRI.

Great info!

That’s true BLF spirit right there. :+1:

Thanks tatasal! I will probably pick the 3k or 4k version then.

Thanks for the review, what I am wondering is what light created this beam here…

It’s my very old Led Lenser K3

Thanks!

Here I am again. I am having a hard time convincing myself I don’t need this light.

The grip ring, is it metal plastic rubber?

I got the XHP50.2 version (5000K, my fav tint).
Really happy with it. Bright as anything and good beam pattern. For the price you can’t go wrong.
(Hmmm… I wonder if I should get the SST20 version now :innocent: )+

It’s a tailcap machined from a solid block of aluminum I believe.

What is the diameter of the driver? This could be a great host for mods
