I hope Sofirn will also offer suitable high capacity batteries to be shipped with the lanterns as a bundle. This option will be very important for those of us who have great difficulties ordering batteries due to battery shipping restrictions. It is much easier to ship the batteries inside the light.

Please make this happen. Many thanks.

I’m in for two!

Please put me down for two.

@ tindrum42, back in post 1550 you requested 4 lights, so presently you have numbers 792-795 on the interest list.

Do you want 2 more, for a total of 6?

OP Updated!

I agree, hope they can off that as a bundle option. (a good set of four 3400 or higher quality cells.

I’m interested.

Please put me down for one.

Please add me to the list
Thanks

Please add me to the interested list as well. Thanks!

Hi guys. Happy new year  Any updates on this?

Were working on getting some updates from the factory.

I have been pining for this light for a month + during my kitchen remodel. Also was hoping to give one to my son for his birthday at month end. It will come, it’s sooooo close . . .

It is not that close, although Den has done lot of tests on his builds, a first factory prototype is not produced yet. That must be evaluated to see if all works as well as Den’s prototypes, and if the extra features like the tint ramping work, mind that that is a Sofirn first.

I wish we could have the production one in time for that. Once Barry can provide me with a factory prototype build to do testing on to check to make sure its within the planned specifications & design, and if its a good & all tests good, test then the go can be given to start production for orders.

Yeah, I did not mean to imply it would be available by the end of the month, just that I have, as have many others, been looking forward to this lantern. It will be done when it’s done.
