I think the issue is that Neal also gets his goods directly from ff and reships to you. I bought 6 in 5 separate shipments from ff directly and they are slow to ship. So you ended up waiting for ff to ship to Neal first before he can ship to you.
Today was a great day! Finally arrived. The Gun Grey is really nice. It had the tail cap o-ring pinched pretty badly, otherwise in great shape… The aux LED’s are super cool. The fact that they’re different color than the switch is silly, but it doesn’t really bother me much.
It’s much smaller than I envisioned. Thr ramping is great and the output is pretty crazy. Very very happy with it.
Ordered my E07 3 days ago with freeme’a code directly from Fireflies, got my shipping notice today. It shipped China E-packet, hopefully faster than my PL47 which shipped registered post and took about a month.
I would be happy waiting a month with free shipping compared to paying $10 extra and it still takes a month or more lol. I’m almost 2 weeks in with no tracking info from Neal, so I ordered another directly from ff.
Unless I’m mistaken, there is no Nichia option anymore on the Fireflies website and some aux colors are lacking, and on Banggood I can’t see how to chose the aux color. This led me to Neal’s, but I’m just wondering: is this store based in the US or in China? I’m in Europe and this may change the shipping time and likelihood of paying fees at delivery.
Also, does anyone have any pictures of the yellow aux? I’m having trouble choosing between the yellow or grey body, and all four aux colors. :> Are the red aux actually convenient for reading? I like the blue and purple tints, but am wondering whether the red wouldn’t be more comfortable for an actual use like reading without bothering people sleeping around with the white light (even at low intensity, it may be more distracting).
[Edit] How did people order different colors for switch and aux? I can’t see a separate choice on Neal’s website or others.
You can use stepped ramping, which allows you to set the min and max levels (while keeping turbo independent) and your choice of steps. Works very similar to how Ive heard the Armytek headlamp UIs explained.
May I have the Banggood coupon? [Edit: Nevermind, Freeme already sent it to me a few weeks ago.] And maybe instructions on how to choose the aux color on their store? Neal cannot ship the model I ordered on his store.
