The protections of Ebay and PayPal make it less risky to be taken advantage of. I have bought thousands of dollars of stuff on Ebay. Over the course of 15 or so years of course. Only have ever had but a few problems. A few DOA’s and one that never shipped. Those problems were resolved quickly thanks to Ebay and PayPal. Never had anything counterfeit or fake. I think I need to worry more about problems from overseas mega sellers, not mentioning any names, more so than I do Ebay. Scammers and low lifes get run off Ebay fairly quickly. Buyers have a responsibility to do their research before making purchases. We would be fools if we didn’t. Now Craigslist is a different story.
Well throw your bid out there. You might get lucky. I won a few in the past with a bid I never thought would buy anything. I won a auction on 2 D4’s for $45 shipped early last year.
Sorry about that, raccoon. I hope everything works out for you. I don’t recall what eBay/PayPal current policy is. But, in the past, I’ve had my order cancelled and money refunded automatically by eBay/PayPal when a scammer’s account was shut down. If this seller has a rash of bad feedback for not shipping items, your money should be quickly returned to you. But still, the guy wasted your time and possibly caused you to miss other good deals that may have popped up while you thought you had one bagged.
