How many times have you ever wanted to know how long a flashlight is in inches or how much it weighs in pounds/ounces (or vice versa?).
Here's a free small simple program that does more conversions than you can shake a stick at. Ive used it for over a decade and keep a copy on my desktop. Please dont forget to thank the author for his efforts.
A must have program, but I still use unit conversion function in calculator that comes with Windows  (Vista and 7, don't remember if XP has it also)
I try to do conversions in my head whenever possible. Keeps the math skills sharp and the conversion units fresh. 2.54cm or 25.4mm to an inch. 0.62miles in a km, F=1.8C+32, etc.
$metoo. And these are just the one-on-one conversions. I also try to remember varius formulas.
So I can calculate myself things like how wide must a tube be to accommodate 3 or 4 AA (A) batteries.
Because when you don’t use it, you lose it. Like hordes of lazy tripeds did before me (and you).
