Just received my S43 Christmas Edition! What a fantastic light! And for $27 and change! I got the Nichia version with Narsil V1.3 Only problem I have is that I received this light 1 day after receiving my Fireflies E07!!!
What?! You didn’t get BOTH of the Christmas colors?! 
Sorry, but to me that red color on a flashlight is the ugliest ever …
I like it.
I liked both the red and green colors, but I wanted those in place of the black ano, and the center part solid copper, like the S43S that I bought. Now THAT would be nice! 
I ordered the green as well. Looks like a nice color, I wish the D4 was still available in green.
Great light… I have S43 w/ 18650 and S43S w/ 18350. Side by side looks like the cover of the movie, “Twins”
I’m a bit late to the party as well. Got a S43S (copper) and S43 Christmas (green). I’m so very impressed with this light for the price. The UI is so rich. I love the size, even with 18650. So slim. The copper head is HEAVY, but elegant. Beam tint (Nichia) is excellent. Some artifacts, due to quad TIR, but perfectly acceptable.
I was going to buy another light I had my eyes on, but I think it’ll have to wait. I may find myself using the S43 quite a lot.
