Help! What is it? Battery info needed

I took apart the battery pack on an older Toshiba laptop.

The batteries are a pinkish red color with

A PFLAY84

Printed on the side.

Based on length I do not believe they are protected.

I have them on my charger now and they seem to be taking a charge just fine.

Does anyone know anything about these batteries? Capacity, amperage etc?

Any advice is appreciated.

As long as they hold a decent charge and don’t burst into flames in the process, I just use ’em regardless in low-stress lights.

I wouldn’t worry about the specifix, but hey, if anyone knows anything, so much the better.

Post us up a pic or two and maybe we can positive ID them.

Turns out I just needed some better light and my reading glasses.

I believe this is a 2100mah battery. I’m just not sure of the safe running amperage. Guess I have some Google’in to do.

Looks to be a decent battery in mid current loads. It’s not a high drain battery but it should work fine in most flashlights.

The discharge graph at the bottom right shows a decent curve at a 3c discharge current that’s roughly 6.75 amps.
