Final specs have not been finalized for the large spring yet.
I’ve already tried this for the small spring last time, but did not work theoretically, and the manufacturer advised against doing this too for the small spring.
It should work with a 12mm height, but I’m waiting for a response from the manufacturer.
Thank you for publishing the list. Could you please reduce the SST20 4000K for me (line 5) to 20 pieces? And please add 20 small NICKEL-plated springs. My flashlights are really looking forward to get some high quality springs!
Just mounted/tested my first SST-20, the 3500K, on a 16 mm SinkPad II, in a little decent zoomie - the UltraFire U-F10. The beam tint is looking really nice and rosy. Wow! Compared side by side with my other U-F10 running a XM-L2 U4 1C dedomed, the U4 looks so green. So from stock (XM-L2 ~U2 1A), the lumens is down (320->201) but the throw is up (6 kcd to 10.2 kcd), but now, of course, it has great CRI and a great tint.
I got my SST-20 3500K and installed them in a quad. The tint is very neutral, I like it a lot. I wouldn’t call it rosey personally, its pretty much just neutral.
I’ll try to get some pictures later if I get some time.
If you are still ordering SST-20 4000k 95CRI, would you please put me down for 8?
Also, I used two of your larger springs from your first batch to upgrade my convoy L6 switches, they work much better now. The batteries dont disconnect when the light shakes now, and I think it is visibly brighter. (I have no actual test equipment)
