I was also counting down and saw that it sold out in a micro-second. Almost as if there were ……… less than 1 for sale :rage:
Lightbringer: tatasal:I also receive Vipon email deals, but the items listed are not the same ones posted here.
Unno. I gave up on that Wohoho powebank, ’cause after missing it the 1st day and it being sold out in 13µsec the 2nd day, I waited for it the 3rd day. Was watching the countdown, 3… 2… 1… sold out?!? Wtf?!?

Yep, my experience on that Powerbank has been the same…. no joy.
Coupon availability counts down to zero & just resets. :person_facepalming:

I gave up after day 2. I really wanted one of those, such a great price and the type c adapter was icing on the cake.
teacher:Thank you cadmium for the heads up on that one!!
At $6.99 it was a no-brainer!! . :+1:Yeah, wasn’t sure if it was a one-time-use coupon code, so rather’n get burned, I got 2 of ’em, the 3buk coupon only applied to one, but hey, it’s still nothing to sneeze at.
They’re good for a-giftin’, or just keeping as spares.
I agree Lightbringer, they’ll make a great gift or something to leave in the truck, car, or boat. Or as you say…. just keeping for a spare.
I started to get 2 or 3, but when the $3 coupon just applied to one I just held it at one. . A rare moment of ‘restraint’ kicked in it seems. .
Tom E:Also ordered one of these at 1/2 price via Vipon deal: https://www.amazon.com/BIBTIM. Always hard to find a e-switch zoomie, specially cheap one. I know this form factor - it's made cheap for sure, but for under $10, it's an ok deal, usually.
I got one from the vipon coupon deal I posted a few post back. What it doesn’t tell yeah is the leds are left and right of center on one pcb. When zoomed out the hot spot doesn’t come straight out from the light it’s off to one side. It’s like trying to shoot a gun that’s sighted in way off target. But most people are going to mod this flashlight anyway so I guess it doesn’t matter unless your not a modder. Otherwise it’s a decent host.
I got the lights today and I really didn't know what you were talking about with the "leds", like more than one, and the off center thing. To me it looked like a regular single LED zoomie. I missed the fine print about the red SOS, other than that, no mention of a red LED.
24 hour delivery ain't too bad for 1/2 price items. The TESLACOM light has got a tough button to activate - no good for ramping, and the tail knob is very stiff. I'll have to see if anything can be done about these issues. Looks like a unibody design so might not be so easy to mod I'll find out. I haven't even put batteries in either yet. Weird it's listed as a US company that makes it - they got a lot to learn...
Just noticed this Lightning deal going to be active in an hour or so. These are the Ti versions of the light.
Did anyone buy this crazy thing yet?

They sent me one of those lights 6 months or so ago for a review. I couldn’t say one good thing about it so I told them if they wanted to send me a return label I would send it back to them. Haven’t heard from them since. They don’t claim them to be made in the USA they just have a office in the US. The tail cap knob is just plain awful, the tint is awful, the switch is awful, lumen output is highly exaggerated, and if I remember correctly the lens is plastic. I don’t recall if it was that light or another one I had at about the same time. I threw the Teslacom away so I am not sure if I am correct on the lens part. Junk, I would have been happier with a Bell and Howell TacLight.
I just ordered a TeslaCom: https://www.amazon.com/TESLACOM-Rechargeable-Flashlight-1200lumens-Exploration/dp/B07F76GJ4X. Been look’n for a light of this form factor to mod and didn’t want to spend a lot of $$$. Vipon got it a 1/2 price. Wasted more money than this before in trying to find one to mod.

Tom, was there a coupon or discount. Seems like a decent light.

Nice update Todd. There goes my purchase.

Wow, Love that gold color. If cheap I might grab one.

What's a lightning deal? How do you check? I see it's like $99 now.

Hhhmm, that's close to my impressions. Been email conversing with these guys, ripping them basically but they seem eager to listen. Not gonna ask to return it but had been very close to. Dang think seems all glued up, but will try to get her open.
Yes - button is tuff and hidden, rear knob lubed up with Nyogel so little better - want to spend more time on it. Lumens is in the 500's, 15 kcd.
It’s the same company from above that sounds terrible. This same design has been around a long time but I have no first hand experience with them so YMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMV

Well, you can get them cheaper. Even Sofirn is selling similar SRK clones. I bought a couple, actually one is a 12X in gold that actually looks great, was cheap. I modded it to boost amps, and mixed in a bunch of old XM-L2's in various tints - actually came out pretty nice.

I guess the “Lightening” already struck & dissipated. … I can’t find it with either link.
Top link is $99.
Bottom link goes to ‘deals’ but I can’t locate it.
That may well be ’operator error’ on my end though.

Just started….
$59 not bad
The S1 R II is $85, only 15% off. Not a compelling deal.
Summer and Autumn are at $59. The winter one that I was looking for is $85 which is a joke.
