Beaware of Fasttech free shipping!

On November 23, I placed two orders in FT.
One I received yesterday, the other I still wait for it.
All orders placed from mid-November until after the Chinese New Year are always delayed, regardless of the seller.
It is a period not to get nervous.

Before Xmas i ordered many stuff with free shipping on Ebay. All arrived in 2-4 weeks. Main problem is that you have to fight fasttech to get your money back!

I tried them once. It failed badly so I never tried again.

That may not be entirely fair but it took years of orders from BG and others to have an issue. Then their customer service took care of it. Fasttech on the other was not even trying to help a first time customer. With an experience like that I haven’t even been tempted to buy from FT again.

Fasttech is the only shop I never had an issue with. 2-3 weeks on average shipping time, about 11 orders last year. all good.
I think you can run into problems with any shipper from Asia.

Never had an issue with Fasttech either, used them for years. I have to admit that I mostly don’t use the free shipping option though, I mostly by enough to get registered or I’ll pay the extra to get it.

Name any of these larger stores from China and you’ll have some people saying no problems while others say avoid.

I’m glad you never had a problem with them , but always can be 1st time. They won’t give your money back easily.

that’s why you use Paypal and file a claim, Fasttech is offering PP as an option.

I had tons of issues with shipping from Asia though, just not from Fasttech. Some gearbest items got lost, Aliexpress shops are a huge problem when it comes to shipping (>10% of purchases not shipped or not received).

This can be said for any store anywhere in the world… Name any of these online stores and someone has had some sort of issue with them.

I’ve had no problems getting money back from them either. There are other stores I’ve had issues with though. Paypal is da sh*t!

I’ve never had any problems with Fasttech. Many many orders, some arrived quickly, some took a lot of time (central EU). Just be patient, it will show up. Allways use PayPal as backup though.

I have placed orders from FT for as long as they have been in business. Never had a problem that wasn’t resolved quickly. Shipping times from them range from 10 days to 3 weeks. Most arrive around the 10 day mark.
I do on the the other hand know people that have had problems same as you. It took several weeks to finally get their money back.
With out PP, This forum would be littered with bad experiences from all the overseas sellers.

Yeah, it’s a coin flip with all Chinese dealers. I’ve had problems with most of them but in the past year, Fasttech is the only dealer that I use now. Six or seven orders in the past six months or so and received all of them in a timely manner. Good communication and pictures of the packages sent before shipping.

I’ve did use AliExpress twice in the past few months. Ordered from one store there and after 2/12 months put in a dispute and to their credit, received a refund immediately. Still waiting on the other order from another store there and it’s going on 2 months.

Yeah, it’s a crapshoot with Chinese dealers. Some have good luck, others not so much.

Same here, hardly any problems with FT. Once I got the wrong driver, all I had to do was send a pic of the order (which really showed nothing that couldn’t be faked, but I guess it keeps down the number of specious claims), and they sent the right one and said to just keep the wrong one.

I’ve never had an issue with Fasttech. Many years ago (I think 2013) I had a DOA laser pointer from them and they had me send it to a location in Florida, USA, and upon receipt they refunded the purchase price. They also refunded the shipping cost and all I had to do was to send them a copy of the shipping receipt from US Postal.

I wonder if they still do this with defective items?

Green laser? Same thing, twice. I’m guessing it was a battery issue, as they don’t tell you this anywhere, but on green lasers, batteries usually go pointy-end out, ie, “backwards”.

Same dealy, sent it to somewhere in the States, they even refunded me the postage (emailed a pic of the receipt).

I got no hesitation ordering from FT, like, ever.

Oh yeh, the dreaded “303” lasers, the blue one had the cell go pointy-end in, but green was pointy-end out.

Yeap it was the green one. I bought it for a friend and he was the one that said it wasn’t working so I just handled the return. Humm I guess it could have been due to the positive out “feature”. I guess there was a good reason for designing it that way but in my experience it’s usually + side in and that’s probably the same for the vast majority if people.

I’ve had no issues at all with Fasttech or any of the other Chinese flashlight companies. Hopefully that continues

…Waiting for staff response
Staffs on holiday. Will reply shortly after Feb 13 …
Oh yaaA f… you hard slowtech

Never had issues either, until my last order.
Apparently it made it across the pond and then got stuck somewhere between customs and post office it seems. The shady ways of our customs bureau made it impossible to find out what happened, even for the post office.
Eventually the tracking # expired, then it took FT anther 7 or 8 weeks (and a little push) to come to the same conclusion and I got a refund.
Altogether, it took about half a year. :weary:
Have patience, and be a bit pushy.

Would I order again though? Yes.

I just made another order, P60 SMO pill and a few other supplies. Selected free shipping and this is my first order with FT this year.
Code CNYSALE15 worked like a charm.

Yea, pay now , get shipped after 2 weeks and never receive, but wait for refund until next Xmas ;))
