FW3A, a TLF/BLF EDC flashlight - SST-20 available, coupon codes public

Put me down for two please!

Doh! Reddit swoops in again at the last minute. :stuck_out_tongue:

I knew it was just a matter of time.

In for 2

I wish I only discovered this thread today. It would be much more exciting!

And fill your weekend nicely.

TK, that button effect is simply from the circular machining marks, it’s present on virtually every flat surface machined true on a lathe. Depends a lot on the feed rate but yeah, see it all the time cutting ends of bar stock on the lathe.

I’m in for one! XP-L HI please

Sure know how to explain the magic out of her discovery! Humbug!

FYI-

Per post #6622, I’d like to up my requested number of lights, but don’t see that the list has my updated info on it. If it’s simply not been updated yet, please excuse my paranoia.

I did an oopsie doopsie and psoted in the wrong thread :zipper_mouth_face:

Put me down for one please.

I try not to update the list more than once per week, and the last update was only two days ago. The timestamp at the top of post #4 shows when it was last updated.

A flower is simply the effect of rearranging some of the chemicals in dirt into a different form, and people see them all the time… but I still like to stop and smell them.

Thanks, TK.

So very well said & true. If we don’t take time to smell the flowers in lifes journey…. we truly miss a lot. . . :+1:

BTW, Bluzie received a FW3A sample too, and posted about it on TLF.

TK, thanks for the link to TLF, this will give me a nice excuse to try Google Translate from my laptop.

From TLF review “The VTC5A does not work in my lamp”

does this concern anyone?

Guessing it does not fit???
No concern here, there are plenty that will work/fit. :+1:

It’s odd because he used a unprotected flat top which should be 65mm long. The 30Q should be 64.9mm long. The FW3A has springs on both ends. In theory it should work.

False alarm. It seems the driver is not positioned corectly.
