It looks like getting to 500 4000k SST 20’s is going to take a while if at all.

If the price of them isn’t too bad I’d be willing to add another ten to my order, maybe others can bump up their orders as well.

I suspect it would be easy if there was more confidence a good flux and tint bin could be secured.

Yeah it’s quite problematic.

A high flux bin is easy to get, but a good tint bin? That’s extremely hard.

Getting a good tint bin requires at least a full reel, or 3 reels for more choice, and 5000pcs to get an actual direct choice from the manufacturer.

So, guys, I’ve started preparing the orders for people with 3500k LEDs and springs since they were the easiest to do.

I will also order the 3000k LEDs soon, which will also be included and shipped with the springs.

The springs will start being made, as specified before, starting at 2/19/2019.

From MTN listing:

"This spring starts out at ~11mm, but after a few compression cycles the spring will remain at ~5mm"

So small spring collapses more than 6mm after several compression cycles? I thought difference is ~1mm.

OK that is pretty extreme.

That’s not what I’ve found for even the small spring…

That’s not what I have.

The large spring has a plastic deformation of about 1mm yes.

The small spring will have more than 1mm, but 6mm is pretty extreme.

The max I’ve had with the small spring is 3mm, at 8mm height.

Perhaps he meant full compression height?

I’ll ask what he meant by it, as it’s literally impossible for it to lose 6mm.

As an example, here is a pic I took of two springs, one stock, and the other one has been fully compressed about 10 times for 5 seconds each time.

@Led4Power, I’ve found the error, and I’ve emailed Richard about it.

Apparently, Richard actually put in the same sentence from the Intl Outdoor BeCu spring and put it in the listing.

He meant:

This spring starts out at ~11mm, but after a few compression cycles the spring will remain at ~8,5mm.

I would like to have 10 of the 3000K SST20’s with my (50 ea.) spring order please. I’m excited. I appreciate the service you provide for us BLF members. Thank you.

No problem.
