Beaware of Fasttech free shipping!

Same here, hardly any problems with FT. Once I got the wrong driver, all I had to do was send a pic of the order (which really showed nothing that couldn’t be faked, but I guess it keeps down the number of specious claims), and they sent the right one and said to just keep the wrong one.

I’ve never had an issue with Fasttech. Many years ago (I think 2013) I had a DOA laser pointer from them and they had me send it to a location in Florida, USA, and upon receipt they refunded the purchase price. They also refunded the shipping cost and all I had to do was to send them a copy of the shipping receipt from US Postal.

I wonder if they still do this with defective items?

Green laser? Same thing, twice. I’m guessing it was a battery issue, as they don’t tell you this anywhere, but on green lasers, batteries usually go pointy-end out, ie, “backwards”.

Same dealy, sent it to somewhere in the States, they even refunded me the postage (emailed a pic of the receipt).

I got no hesitation ordering from FT, like, ever.

Oh yeh, the dreaded “303” lasers, the blue one had the cell go pointy-end in, but green was pointy-end out.

Yeap it was the green one. I bought it for a friend and he was the one that said it wasn’t working so I just handled the return. Humm I guess it could have been due to the positive out “feature”. I guess there was a good reason for designing it that way but in my experience it’s usually + side in and that’s probably the same for the vast majority if people.

I’ve had no issues at all with Fasttech or any of the other Chinese flashlight companies. Hopefully that continues

…Waiting for staff response
Staffs on holiday. Will reply shortly after Feb 13 …
Oh yaaA f… you hard slowtech

Never had issues either, until my last order.
Apparently it made it across the pond and then got stuck somewhere between customs and post office it seems. The shady ways of our customs bureau made it impossible to find out what happened, even for the post office.
Eventually the tracking # expired, then it took FT anther 7 or 8 weeks (and a little push) to come to the same conclusion and I got a refund.
Altogether, it took about half a year. :weary:
Have patience, and be a bit pushy.

Would I order again though? Yes.

I just made another order, P60 SMO pill and a few other supplies. Selected free shipping and this is my first order with FT this year.
Code CNYSALE15 worked like a charm.

Yea, pay now , get shipped after 2 weeks and never receive, but wait for refund until next Xmas ;))

Let’s hope not

……Regular airmail is very slow but at the same time your order is taking quite long as well. Please close the dispute first. We can offer a few options:……
F…k you slowtech.
They want me to close paypal case ;))

I guess asking people to close the dispute may be effective as it seems to be suggested by them fairly frequently.

Maybe, but never ever close a dispute until things are settled. Once you close it you cannot reopen.

I guess those that suggest it are hoping a few will bite. :person_facepalming:

Got a parcel from FT today, 58 days after I ordered.
But a staple in the envelope suggested that PostNL might have had a hand in that (wrong delivery slip?).
On the average my previous orders took some 25 days to get to my doorstep.

Even after this 58 days exception, I still have received EVERYTHING I ever ordered from FastTech.
So I certainly will not hesitate to order from them again.

I have not ordered much from FT lately, but I checked my last order in September & it arrived in 18 days. Not too bad for that one. Also never had a problem with Fasttech in any way. Some orders arrive fasted, some slower…… but they all have arrived. :+1:

Sometimes…. stuff just happens & things don’t work right. However, this can happen with any vendor. It is just how it is……

Yep, it happens, and when it does you see threads like this warning everyone about how bad they are. A way of getting even I suppose. There are threads like this here for every online store, even Mountain Electronics.

Your exactly right Mike C… sad but true.

This is first hard case in 12years of buying from china and its from fastech

Wellp, there’s no such thing as a Fasttech Warehouse from what I can tell, and stuff’s drop-shipped from other suppliers. That’s why they carry everything from XHP50s to plant-seeds to naughty toys. So if their supplier says “Hey, we got 5000 in stock!” and FT sells ’em, but the supplier comes up dry, yeah, FT’s on the hook, but there ain’t much they can do about it other than cancel the order and issue a refund, and the culture over yonder considers that about as appealing as donating a kidney on a park-bench using a rusty spork.

So most days you’re the windshield, but some (thankfully rare) days you’re the bug.

I’ve had issues with them being slow to get orders actually shipped once or twice, but generally I find them pretty good and have never had an issue with things not arriving or money issues.
