Fake LG D1s vs genuine ones

After buying 2 sets of fake LG D1s i got pissed of.

Differences between genuine and fake LG D1 cells:

- genuine has matte washer, fake has shiny

- genuine has smooth wrapper, fake has wrinkled
o from all of the genuine LG cells tested, none had wrinkled wrapper

- genuine has no bottom wrap or at least a narrow one, fake has thick bottom wrap

  • genuine cell charged to 4.20v should have a capacity of 2550mAh and only charged to 4.35v should have a capacity of 2900mAh, fake charged to 4.20v has a capacity of 2960mAh which means it is a 4.20v cell and charging to 4.35v could be dangerous and lead to disasters

The batteries from ebay are the same with the ones sold as “Liitokala D1”. Same capacity, same wrinkles, same shiny washer, same thick bottom wrap, etc. I think it’s the same cell with Liitokala HG2 also.

Nevertheless i told the ebay seller that i want a full refund for fooling me around with these fakes.

Discharge curve looks similar to ncr18650pf at 5A (2.73ah, 9.3wh, 50c) down to 2.9v:

I was able to see them this morning. I wonder if they disappeared from the hosting site?

I’ve uploaded them on Google photos. Maybe those people who have account on Google can see it. I try to fix it.
